Should we also do scans for everyone who says they are depressed and if it doesn't look the way we want it to we just tell them they can't get help? I literally do fMRI and EEG research for a living and I find it hilarious people think it's this simple. The perceived value being related to energy is completely wrong though, since coins that don't involve mining and use no energy still have perceived value. IOTA (using DAG) and Nano (using Proof-of-Stake) added together have a total perceived value market cap of $1,000,000 currently. That's a lot of perceived value for something that isn't consuing energy. It isn't a ponzi scheme, so much as gambling. Early adopters, such as myself, never intended to get rich, we were interested in the technology. However as time went on people started seeing it as an investment. The perception of its value started increasing and more people thought it would continue to increase so more and more bought it. When people like myself saw the price getting ridiculous we sold, because we made such an insane profit it wasn't worh the risk of waiting longer. Unfortunately, to sell there must be buyers, and the buyers were people who thought the price would continue going up, but as more people were selling than buying this created an environment where people thought the price would go down and more and more people began selling and the price crashed farther and farther, and this is still happening. The only way the price will be going up is if buyers start outnumbering sellers again causing the perceived value to increase. The links with ethnicity largely have to do with social factors. In environments where people of different races have a similar social environment you tend to see similar IQs.
