The original were good Space Sci-fi westerns that had drama and action. This newer crap is "Fun for the whole family" that is geared towards younger kids too young to think about complex stories such as the ones found in Cartoon network shows.

Ironically the Star Wars Cartoon Network shows have darker storylines than the newer movies

It's not too often you get a DFE banner for 30 stones, might as well at least give it one pull in my opinion. I mean with the new events/mission/battleground reset you'll get those stones back in like a week.

I'd recommend saving at least 200 in case they drop another step up banner for NYES (they did last year) but otherwise it depends how much you want to pull for LR K/C

Yeah it reminds me of the first Force Awakens trailer where all of our heroes are gone and it's very emotional and somber but the Ghostbusters being gone does not exactly justify the same emotions.

I didn't play for 2 weeks because I was playing Jedi: Fallen Order instead so today was the first day I tried playing again. I did 1 delivery and couldn't play any more so I really don't know if I'll be able to power through. Taking a few weeks without playing makes you realize how shallow the gameplay truly is.

Fun games.

They made an asymmetrical online 4v4 multiplayer game a few years ago and it was really underrated. People hated it because it was the first LoK game in a long time and it basically had nothing to do with the series. Weird case of a game probably being more successful if they didn't attach a license and just made it a generic vampire game. It was called Nosgoth I believe

+30% ATK and DEF for TEQ orbs and orb changing is also a pretty nuts passive for TEQ SSB Vegeta. For reference Kefla only gets +12% ATK/DEF for orbs from her passive.

EDIT: And Goku has the same passive for PHY!

This is arguably the real problem - the show is just set in a similar sort of world that extrapolates from the original, but has almost nothing to do with it (other than cameos shoe-horned in to emphasis the connection). You could easily make this sort of show as a unique property that has almost nothing to do with the Watchmen brand at all and there'd be almost no meaningful difference.

The difficulty curve is pretty perfect if you play all of the regular levels and then all of the B-sides and then all of the C-sides but you can play them in any order.

I love RE games but I think the characters (sans Wesker) would be pretty bland in Smash. There's not much Resident Evil flavor in their movesets if that makes sense. They're just generic gun/knife users. The villains in RE represent the franchise much better than the heroes but if you're only taking 1 character from a franchise as DLC you need to pick a protag I think.

90% of Boba Fett's design is his helmet so of course someone with a similar body shape and a near identical helmet is going to draw Fett comparisons.

I mean I agree that using a Mando instead of a random bounty hunter, and using Baby Yoda, were a "cheap" way to get attention but I disagree that the show is bad.

It's just a classic western show, doesn't need to be any deeper than that. If you're looking for a smarter show look elsewhere because this is just action/fun.

Yeah that makes sense, to be fair I think most of the hype from Owlboy came from the fact that it was in development for 12 years or something. There was an easy story that publications could latch onto. I don't think it would have received much press without that aspect of the development.

The art was good but the game itself wasn't particularly amazing. How many games really last in the public eye for very long though? Even games that were highly anticipated like Borderlands 3 just sort of come and go. What kind of reaction are you looking for? Something like Undertale?

I worked retail for like 8 years (including management) and I don't know where you work but they can't just make you work at other stores. Normally they have to ASK you first but I assume you're just blindly saying yes to them.

I'm about 12-15 hours in, still in Chapter 3. Wouldn't say I'm getting burned out necessarily but even on Hard mode it's still a little too easy right now. BT encounters aren't threatening anymore, even if you manage to run directly into one and get grabbed. Mule encounters are a complete joke with the Bola gun, especially now that you can hijack trucks. The terrain used to be a challenge but that's not really the case anymore.

I'm sure the BT encounters will start ramping up and I'll probably be fighting terrorists soon but the game is starting to get a little stale. Wondering if I should start avoiding some of the side orders and try to rush the story for a little bit.
