Jack (of Jack and the Beanstalk/Jack be nimble fame) beat Death canonically in Fables by tricking him into being sucked into a sack. Death was cool with it since it gave him a day off and let Jack sleep with this girl he was supposed to kill for, like, a year in return.

DEATH's pretty good at making sure killed things are dead, but this is the most "go to the bar" kind of match possible. And if a loser like Jack can figure out something that constitutes a win, I see no reason that Bigby couldn't also.

Jack would actually be a really interesting entrant in this, especially after his film trilogy makes him effectively immortal.

Series 1 is great in a different way, I think. Series 2 is where everything is codified, but the raw pioneering experiment of Series 1 is definitely special in its own way. And Widdicombe is great.

tbh whenever I see these topics I don't think I've ever seen people come around to enjoying the game in question.

This is my experience as well. It usually feels more like either a dare to the board to convince someone of something subjective, or just a desire for some sort of external motivation.

Call of Duty was my first thought, but I would agree that Resident Evil doesn't have "iconic" music. I think the word is really reserved for a small percentage in any category, almost miniscule.

Sherlock's ability makes this a grand hodgepodge of a mess if that's actually a functional ability we're going with because the nature of humor is entirely subjective and Sherlock would reverse the laws of humor as they come into play since Bugs Bunny's abilities are reliant on them. Thus, Bugs Bunny and Sherlock are trapped forever in a cyclic loop of narrative laws that exist only to propel fiction forward. This becomes a narrative-free fight and therefore all actions have no consequences nor are they the result of cause and effect in the story and without those things, the entire fight is meaningless, winner and loser incapable of being recognized since context has been stripped thanks to a lack of narrative.

On Thursday, we have our epilogue session. I'm really looking forward to the end of this campaign a lot. On one hand, I feel proud so much that I was able to put together over the last year, but on the other, I realize that there is so much room for me to develop and grow. I've been slowly building my next campaign for so long, and, much like this campaign, it's been really hard to not reveal the surprises early.

I try to predicate the campaign on twists and turns, but there were plenty in the current campaign. Neron turned out to not be Neron, Huntress got fired, and we spent weeks ripping pieces of fabric out of Batman's mouth and other assorted orifices. Overall, it's tough to see the campaign end, but I think there were a lot of great character arcs over time. It feels like a natural ending time, even though many people want to linger on.

Please continue to defend that point.

Sure, I would be happy to defend not getting rid of a television show that's meeting ratings expectations so the set designers, make-up artists, lighting technicians, craft services, etc. don't lose their jobs because someone who can't even sign their real name to their opinion believes that jobs should be sliced because "ME NO LIKE SHOW." Which was my original opinion. Sorry, I just have zero respect for people who are so callous about things. Very much a foolmo style of opinion. Sorry that I'm at a point in my life where posts like that rub me the wrong way.

I think there's a right way to be critical and a wrong way. And generally speaking, you prove time and again you are a proponent of the wrong way, a "Me-First" mentality that just boggles my mind. This is just a straw breaking the camel's back.
