Different energy trails for different speedsters isn't a new thing. The show's problem is constantly bringing in new speedsters as heroes and villains.

As for the video itself, the answer is budget. First season Flash you had 2 Arrowverse shows running, as they began to greenlit more and more shows the budgets got smaller and smaller.

Wow so... Legacy of the first blade dlc is just so so bad.

Episode 1 and 2 are alright, especially since they give really nifty perks. Episode 1 gives by far one of the best most broken abilities in the game, fury of the bloodlines. It's an attack that kills most enemies and literally restores 4 full adrenaline segments to your meter.

But hoo boy episode 3 is garbage. They try so hard to make it serious but it's just really cringey. So Kassandra leaves her lover and baby just as they're all about to board a boat to escape so that she can go save an old man, and wouldn't you know it when she comes back the bad guys have killed her lover and taken her baby. Shock and awe/who woulda thunk it/pikachu face etc.

I feel like Kassandra is the canon playthrough for the main story and who makes most sense, but for this dlc I kinda feel like they intended it for an alexios playthrough

It is interesting, I wonder what it was like playing xenosaga first? While playing xenogears did you recognize things you saw in xenosaga. Because when I played xenosaga, the beginning and end of episode 3 especially was overt with xenogears callbacks

Literally over a hundreds spent on this game and I just recently found out that newly discovered leaders have a little bio about them when you look at them on the world map... what's the damn point, the moment I discover a leader I'm going to kill them, how would I have known to take the time to open the world map and looked at them.

Yeah I went through the xeno games like 6 years back. Mixed feelings on them, overall they're an interesting idea that were never fully realized. I don't regret playing them, they were worth a one time experience.

But it wasn't until I finally played Xenoblade that I fell in love. Xenoblade felt like the culmination of everything they were trying to do in gears and saga, finally a long, complete and self contained game with some surprising homages to the previous 4 games.

I really liked this guy in their old videos he was great

So... being lv 99 is actually a good thing. I still get ability points, but enemies are not gonna level scale any higher right so that means I'll finally feel actually strong when I take out enemies.

One-shotting mercenaries feels really good too.

I equipped my ship with all 4 of the lieutenants I mentioned earlier. At least there's a small bit of dialogue that acknowledges their existence on the ship so that's nice of ubisoft.

Time to finish up the DLC, and I also still have a lot of blue missions (lost tales of greece) I didn't do. I didn't even do fate of atlantis which I learned is something entirely different from getting those 4 orbs for pythagoras in the main story line.

Wish I knew if there were still historical locations I didn't discover, the game doesn't seem to give any indication. At least the question marks on the map screen make it obvious which places I've still got left to do (just unfortunate that sometimes I used to ignore a place after I discovered it and say "I'll get back to it later" but on the map you have to really zoom in every time to see if a place has a check mark tick on it or not)

I didn't bother with a 3ds but always wondered, what was the fanbase's thoughts on the prequels? The first one was on DS so that's the only one of the prequels I played. After the great trilogy it took a beat to accept stepping back in time instead of moving forward.

If the prequel sequels are on Switch I might get them?

Also I know other people have been playing Switch as a handheld but how well do typical handheld games from the GBA and DS games play on a hybrid console

It's probably closer to an hour or so, but yeah. Barely any of it now. Just occasional 5 to 10 minute spurts.

As for the Ghost of Kosmos... sparing her makes absolute no sense. She confesses to getting Phoebe killed and plans to carry on the cult you just took down in a 'new way'. Annoyingly the canon choice is sparing her. Just makes Kassandra come off as very naive.

Wait wait. I'm supposed to spare her? I just killed her and have spent the last couple hours doing quests and other stuff, should I go back to the old save?

Oh screw it I just can't let her walk away like that, none of Kassandra's dialogue options make sense. I'd laugh at the romance option but it's more about the wtfness at just how little the developers cared about the story or anything related to it.

Not sure what Pythagoras being in that vision means, talking to Kassandra over the background of cutscenes from all the previous AC game locations

I actually liked some of s4 when I watched it 10 years and only cringed at some bits here and there. But it hasnt been great on any attempted rewatches. I tried going through the remix version but it's somehow worse, feels longer somehow

Entire time I was wondering why they even bothered making this. Still remembered laughing at one scene they were able to get with Portia as Lindsey that had green screen so bad it was like watching random youtuber green screens

Should have figured it out. When she was first introduced as being well connected I thought that raised alarms slightly. And something about her seemed shady, but I considered everyone in politics shady.

Weird, Kassandra didn't even confront her about Phoebe. I didn't even like the kid and even I remembered, this game is a ball dropper sometimes in terms of satisfying story and character development. They should have focused less on stupid arbitrary dialogue choices and flavor text, and instead just focus more on delivering a clear concise story with one unified vision like in AC origins.

Oh fuck me. I think I figured out who the ghost of kosmos is. It's the wife of perikles isn't it, what's her name.

I've killed most of the cultists and the sages, and decided to just look at the clues I've amassed for the ghost out of curiosity. Here's the clues:

1) the ghost of kosmos organized Perikles' death

2) the ghost is a woman

That's all I needed. They're literally the only character left, there's no other person in the game it could be, they all either died or are super cringey typical AC fare like Socrates (I don't think I could have cringed harder at him busting Kassandra out of a prison with Barnabas. Straight up 3 stooges material)

I actually dislike/was disappointed by the job system in FF 12 Zodiac Age, however every other addition was absolutely amazing. Being able to get the seitengrat bow (forget zodiac spear, this thing obliterates it) almost immediately after starting the game. Double and quadruple speed. Removal of the stupid and arbitrary 9999 damage cap.

FF 12 ps4 was the first time I ever 100% a FF game. Beating Yiazmat with its 50 million HP was so satisfying. Beating the trials was fun too.

I liked vanilla FF 12 and being able to learn the entire license board is better, however every other addition in Zodiac Age more than makes up for it and then some.

After semi beating ac odyssey, I've come to realize that GTA San Andreas is the real odyssey all along. Going from gang based territory warfare in Los Santos, to all the stuff we were doing in San Fierro, to owning a casino in Las Ventras... and finally it all coming full circle and returning to the promised land Los Santos. Truly is the best GTA game of all time.

Yeah that's kinda what I meant. It crosses the realm of goody2shoes and becomes straight up irresponsible of Kassandra to keep letting Deimos go as he kills people left and right.

It's why I loled so hard at the random Phoebe death (the little girl from Kephalonia) . They basically had some random mooks be the one that kill her and it's so obvious they didn't have deimos kill her because if it was him that did it there's no way in hell they can justify Kassandra constantly being nice to him later on even with her mother begging her to "bring Alexios back to us"

Here's the thing. I reloaded an old save because if I do complete the mission, I get 4 lieutenants for the ship who are deimos, myrrine, nikoloas and stentor. I'm worried that if I get them as lieutenants I lose them on the world map and will never be able to talk to them again.

It's a fucking waste and lazy of ubisoft to not let you talk to your lieutenants on board your ship. Otherwise I would like the goofy idea of sailing with your family exploring the greek world and the supernatural stuff, I'd actually be for it.

No you can still find them reuploaded throughout youtube, problem is if you didn't remember the name of a video or didn't set them to a playlist a while back you're SOL and have to do some detective work on finding the really old stuff that wasn't politically correct (to them) and they abandoned.

As someone who finally played GTA 5 recently, I can say with absolute certainty what I've said for nearly 20 years: GTA San Andreas is still the best GTA game. The ones that came after don't even come close

It'd be pretty hilarious

On the one hand I shouldn't have to need to religiously follow a guide 25 years after the game came out in order to be able to break the game and make it remotely playable.

On the other hand, it was pretty immensely satisfying that my characters were level 15 when I beat the game. And having no-encounter for a ps1 era jrpg with their frequent encounter rates meant that I could literally walk the entire world map or dungeon without every facing a battle.

But it's still just a minigame masquerading as a jrpg. Triple Triad can be fun sure, but anything besides normal rules is not fun. And I don't even bother playing unless it's to get those one-in-a-million cards.

When I first played FF 8 I didn't even beat it, got stuck on disc 3 and then just skipped to FF 9 which was an initial relief at being a regular jrpg with no fucking level scaling. But those battle load times are inexcusable and really bring the game down since that's a core part of a video game, and anyone saying otherwise is in denial.

And I loved FF 8's silent movie romance theme, if only it was improved it could be really good
