What are those things?

those are the cables that run to your WiFi antenna. that card to the left with the two barcodes is the wireless NIC. you'll want to reconnect those if you want any sort of decent wireless reception.

Well thankfully I was able to plug it in. Thank you.


Unfortunately, the computer still shut off randomly when I was trying to use it, even after cleaning the fan. I guess this computer is garbage?

Great news!!

I was able to put the computer back together and now it's working properly.

The bult in mouse isn't working at all. I probably didn't jam in the ribbon plug currectly. I'll double check.

Thank you for the help!! Still not sure if this will help the random shutting off issue, but we will see.

I was able to clean the fan successfully. There was all kind of dust in there before.

Now the hard part is putting everything back together. Not sure if I will be able to get the ribbons back in.

Which side do you think? It's certainly not in the middle of the ribbon - either end is a connector.

All I'm trying to do is clean out the fan because the computer overheats a lot.

i'd be really surprised that that is preventing your power supply working.

if you have two consoles that aren't getting power.. have you considered that it's your AC adapter? (assuming you are using the same one for both of them)

Yeah, I am talking about that.

I have two adaptors though. They both don't work. My other SNES will work if I really fiddle sound with the cord, but this new one does not. Since I have two adaptors, that can't be the reason.

Are you sure it's fine? Zoom in on the image. It's cracked a little bit. My other SNES is even more cracked.

Is that a normal problem? Is it fixable? Wow, I just bought this off eBay and didn't even have a chance to play it.

I believe the crack was caused by me. But even when the crack wasn't there, it wouldn't work. This sucks. I like to think I take care of my consoles, but I can't believe I have two SNES' with this issue.

Not at all. She just gets really depressed and will sit in bed for like 16 hours a day. She will cut off contact too. I guess I just answered my own question lol.

It all depends on whether or not she wants to let in people in her life right now, maybe it's not the best time for her to deal with too many things all at once.

Yeah, basically she is having some small family issues and she is failing all of her college classes because she doesn't have any time.

Didn't Bubsy have fall damage? Wtf were they thinking?

That was the problem with the first Bubsy. Too many one-hit deaths and high falls. Bubsy 2 added a life bar which was better, but the game had other problems.

Bubsy 1 was pretty good. Very underrated.
Bubsy 2 tried to be ambitious by adding more features and making more re-playable, but I think it's too complicated and not as good. But still a decent game.
Bubsy 3D was bad.

There was a pilot of an animated Bubsy, but it wasn't picked up by any TV stations. There was only that episode.

Shadow The Hedgehog wasn't good, but interesting game with small enjoyment.

Sonic And The Secret Rings was pretty good.

My old SNES has a weird crack in the power-adapter . It used to not work intermittently, I had to move around the power cord a lot. Now it doesn't work at all.

Me too. I was under the impression I would be calling people manually from a spreadsheet or piece of paper. Nope. It's an automatic dialer that goes through the list one-by-one and calls each number for you. It's also way too fast.

Why did you get fired?

The funny part is I lasted a week and 1 day lol. I was reluctant on taking the job from the start because it was a call center and I have worked in a call center before.

It was a real estate job. I wasn't actually selling homes, I was calling home owners (who are trying to sell their houses) to recommend them a real estate agent. The company was a very good business model, but the experience was not what I thought it would be. Training was 1 week, which is far shorter than most sales jobs I've seen. Then right before I started my job on the phones, they told me I will also be cold calling existing home owners (who are NOT trying to sell) and trying to convince them to sell their homes. That is despicable, thanks for letting me know right before I start my job.

Day #1 on the phones was horrible. Customer were extremely nasty to me (for good reason) and it was very stressful. Also, calls were coming in back to back. Way too many calls. Day #2, I snapped and told my manager that I hate my job. My manager reported it to a senior manager, and that senior manager came over to my desk and fired me. It was pretty funny, because he fired me publicly in front of everyone. Not the normal business way.
