Before people were forced to overcome their anxiety because they needed to go out into the world and interact with people for both life necessities and recreation.

Now we dont have to ever leave our house for any reason.

Honestly for me the portability is such an awesome feature that I buy every multi-platform game on the Switch. So far the little sacrifices that have been made have not hindered my experience at all. For example, Rocket League isnt as crisp graphically in handheld mode as it is in docked mode, but its still Rocket League and still plays like Rocket League and the fact that I can play online Rocket League matches while on the train heading into Boston is just incredible to me.

I have adult money so that means nothing to me. I blow $60 bucks at dinner on Friday nights.

Plus the PS4 version isnt portable.

I havent played a Doom game since the original one when I was a kid. Saw it in the Switch store and didnt even realize a Doom game was coming out for the Switch and figured fuck it, dont have an FPS on this yet.

I havent enjoyed a FPS this much since Perfect Dark. Ive gotten so Goddamn bored of the genre and all the new standard conventions and this game reminds me of what made the genre good in the first place (killing things with awesome weapons from your point of view).

Plus I love that my character doesnt move like hes carrying 800 pounds of gear for the first time in forever.

The progression and upgrade system is a lot of fun foo. Also loving the amount of detail theyre putting into the backstory and lore without pummeling you with cutscenes. In fact, there really hasnt even been one in the first 2 levels.

So yeah, definitely one of my all time best impulse buys and has to be my favorite FPS in 20 years.

Not to mention how absolutely mind blowing it is to be holding a game this gorgeous with this online multiplayer in the palm of my hands.
