Those topdown gif recipes can be pretty ok but I find they miss out critical steps in the cooking process. Especially those ones where they just toss a bunch of ingredients into a slowcooker, no sauteing, browning, etc.. Anyone trying that is going to be disappointed with the end result.

Yeah, that does seem to be somewhat of an issue with a good bit of them. I guess they just assume you already have an idea what to do in-between, know how to cook what, or otherwise just decide for yourself how exactly you want it made.

I was posting in a topic about food with a post about pasta fa gioli (Italian beans and pasta)

Yeah easy.

Walk outside, turn my car on to heat up with warm clothes inside. Leave it on warming up, after I'm nice and warm again strip done, keep my car unlocked, and get out.

Cover my junk with my hands, run in circles for three minutes, then get back in my warm car, put clothes on, and tell them I think I have frostbite from getting trapped outside in the cold naked.

I should be cleared (temps like that should take 5-10 minutes for frost bite to kick in) and not horribly embarrassing considering I basically have infinite money.

As a vegetarian myself, I just make sure to eat a lot of cashews and potatoes. Also I'll make pasta fa ggioli (beans and pasta) a couple times a month. It's an Italian dish and as an Italian I might be biased, but it's damn good made right. Loaded with iron too.
