It's funny how people always says that they'll wait 6 months to see any possible side effects when those "guinea pigs" have already taken the vaccine about 6 months ago.

Making an actual vaccine doesn't take long at all. Testing it on multiple different people and seeing if it actually works and if it's safe is what really takes all the time.

Why is this vaccine being close to release in less than a year while others take up to decades to release? Mainly because to see if the vaccine actually works. If the thing you're trying to vaccine against doesn't spread to other people as fast or if there's no emergency need for it then you can safely wait a long time to get all the data you need to determine if the vaccine actually protects the person from the thing you're trying to protect it from. If the thing is spreading like fucking wildfire all around the world (like covid is) then getting that efficiency data is going to happen extremely quickly. Why wait for years to see if your vaccine is working when you can get the all the data you need at a fraction of a time with how widespread covid is?

As for safety concerns, any possible side effects will happen earlier rather than later so if you don't see any side effects with in 6 months or so then chances are that you won't see any random side effects a year+ down the line.

I think only my grandparents have died since I was born.

I have like 30 different aunts/uncles and none of them have died after I was born. Like I believe the only potential aunt/uncle that has died was one of my mother's sister who died in the late 70s from a car accident or something.

I can't recall any cousins that have died, and I had a potential older brother who died before I was born. I believe something about him suffocating when they were sleeping on a crib, and I wouldn't have known anything about until I stumbled onto an old family photo when I was 13 and asked who was the baby in the photo? Was it me, or was it my younger brother? >__>

Damn, now that I'm thinking about it, it's sad that I barely know anything about him. Like I don't even know the date of his birth or something. And I can't exactly ask my mother, she gets very emotional about these things and I don't want to make her sad lol

I started to work out and damn, I'm alot weaker than I thought. I put on about 6 plates of the 5 pound plate on each dumbbell and it was a struggle to do 10 bench presses with them. Though I guess that's why I decided to go with a customizable dumbbell set so I can slowly work my way up

It's a struggle, but at the same time I'm looking forward to see how much I can grow tbh.
