I don't know or care. It's not really that prestigious or a big deal. Check my sig for what films I have seen. Lots of better film labels out there.

Well that's shitty. I'm usually pretty opinionated online but I keep it more chill on reddit because of all the dicks (often right wing nuts) with too much time on their hands. Had a bunch of posts brought up that were in no way offensive on an old account. No idea if that's what this is but that user's point seems highly possible.

Nah, you're wrong and should feel infertile.
Looks nothing like anime. There's several styles of anime, but this ain't one of them.

Anime is a pretty limited and repetetive genre. This is different enough for people to have clear preferences on.

But people suck and prefer constant streams of generic anime girls to actual art.
He's worked in animation loads though. I love his art but it definitely has some relationship with anime. Just look at Angel's Egg

Outside of insular anime circles the first movie is widely considered a groundbreaking masterpiece. A lot of people love the second film too, myself included.

It's garbage and butchered the source material.
Have you read the original source material? It's visually exciting but mostly consists of horny gibberish with some cool ideas. The Oshii films are great and I think the live action film gets a lot of things right, probably suffers from trying to copy the 1995 film so intensely.

I've never read the Alita manga but holy shit that movie was bad
