cybersheep's dream has an amazing ethereal-ish sound to it? like not fully but it has a vibe i can't fully explain that i think works in favour of the "dream" part of the song title
x vs zero is passable but i don't really care for it, i like the little guitar flourish before the loop tho, despite how generic it probably is

shocking news! supersweep fan loves supersweep! navi customizer has a good few things to love about it though, although for some reason despite being exactly the kinda thing i'd LOVE i just kinda end up liking it less than i should. it has a lot of great parts though and i do think its really great, to the point of feeling guilty for voting against it despite absolutely preferring the other song

i feel guilty whenever i vote for one of the obvious choices but i love armored armadillo so much

the original tornado man is one of my favourite mega man songs ever but this just seems like its pushing too hard to be cool and loses a lot of the energy of the first one that i liked and tries to be chaotic, which while i enjoy in the cases of other music, i don't think is done particularly well. i WISH i liked this more, because a remix of tornado man's theme would normally be awesome to me. if the sections that are used as small improvised sounding riffs were just short one offs i'd be fine with them but having them as the WHOLE song just kinda mangles the original song into a complete mess

pleasant thief marino is pretty simple but i do really love it, the instrumentation is really soothing, especially that lead synth

i really love falling down generally but i think it does need a bit more to it, whereas ground man is AMAZING as it is, i LOVE mm&b. originally thought i preferred the og mm&b snes ver but i am growing to love this version much more

i dont want to vote for wily stage 1 but i absolutely prefer it to apple market and id feel bad for letting the bias influence me to vote for the youtube background music-esque 30 second loop
zero stage 2 is nice but i only really like it in the touhou part LOL

Honeslty I also kinda love the idea of the 9 day mini contest type thing but I don't think anyone would really agree and people who didn't want it would probably just only vote for what they knew...

personally i think 3 and 4 are the best options since it just seems nice to let people have nominations in or to let other games get the spotlight
4 seems especially good considering the top spots are VERY dominated by X, so more variety would be appreciated
