Should give it another chance. I'm actually re-reading Name of the Wind right now. One of my favorite Fantasy books I've read in recent years, but again, Rothfuss needs to take his happy pills and get back at book 3. Unlike Martin, he doesn't have the excuse of royalties from a TV show to tide him over. I can see why some people don't like it because scenes rapidly shift to other characters and he doesn't always explain what's going on right away, but I like it.
