The Carling Cup is cursed. Whoever wins the Carling Cup is doomed to a run of poor form and disaster. Tottenham won it in 07 - 08 and they went through a terrible run. Man United won it in 09 - 10 and promptly lost the Premier League title. Birmingham won it in 10 - 11 and well, they got relegated. Now in 11 - 12 Liverpool won it and they are paying the price.

Here's hoping Bolton holds on to that lead till end game. It'd be kind of a feel good thing if Bolton survives the drop. Can't wait to see Blackburn relegated to show those dumbass chicken sellers what terrible owners they are.

Its clear you never watched Torres at his prime if you think Llorente, Pedro, (an injured) Villa and Soldado are better than him.

Adriano in his prime was awesome too. Look where he is now after his loss of form: Fired from Corinthians. If you have said World Cup 2014 maybe he'll have a chance. But not Euro 2012 he will not, especially with Llorente and Soldado being so much better at scoring right now.

I'm not sure when did you win your last piece of silverware but I do know that least we've got a piece of silverware called the Leage Championship that we won just 2 seasons ago while you lost one the least important English cups, arguably less important than the League 1 trophy, to a bunch of relegated "chumps" and a Newcastle alumni.
