First time I've ever had a patient with West Nile Virus today. Really freaked me out cus this weekend I was chillin outside with the boys having some beers and got pretty bit up.

I'm 22, I have a whole entire 40+ years to add to my 401k. This latest check barely added $20.

Of course I imagine this beast of a car may even last 300k+ so thats even more more money that will be added to my 401k/savings in the time being.

My current car is on its way out. 2003 Camry with 270k miles on it. Still runs fine but I want to be financially prepared when it inevitably becomes not worth it to repair (haven't done any major repairs yet sans maintenance)


I've been working part time as an EMT for 2 years and have accrued about $1500 in my 401k. Was thinking about taking out that money when the time comes to add to my current savings with a down payment on a new/used car. Seems like a worthy investment considering A) This is not my career, just wanted to be involved in the medical field while I finish school and B) $1500 is not going to make or break my retirement right lol.

Of course I know they take like 10% when you withdraw which is dumb but whatever.

Great way to start the fantasy season ugh.

In a really tight budget and want to use my credit card some groceries.

Currently have a $0 balance on the card. Do not have a payment due obviously but if I did it would have to be made on the 3rd. If I use it today will I be expected to pay it/minimum payment by the 3rd despite using it for the first time today (the 1st)?

Don't have the cash to do the minimum payment currently but also do not want to take a hit to my otherwise good credit.

keep watching the show. i do not want to spoil anything but there's a VERY big scene that will change the show completely coming up, so at least watch till the end of season 3.

personally i think it's a great show but the quality has gone downhill a little bit in the later seasons. too much of an emphasis on magic IMO (I am much more interested in the political intrigue instead of magic and big fight scenes) and as someone else said, as the show really starts to focus in on the main characters they become a bit one dimensional and predictable.

definitely still one of the best shows on TV though

So watch until season 3 and then read the books?

I realize this but it was done purposely.

I know that the GoT hype has been long overdue but I purposely did not watch it. And now I am.

Has been captivating thus far. Just finished season 1. Am beginning season 2. No spoilers. But how would you guys rate this show? Through the first season I see great potential. I believe it may even rival Breaking Bad once it gets in its later seasons but only time will tell. Btw Khaleesi is hot af but if I say that she will kill me.

apparently they didn't post any flyers and barely did any looking because my dad "didn't want to".

He was closer to that dog than I was, I don't know why he wouldn't want to look for our dog. They did go to the pound and apparently the pound had seen my craigslist posts and said they hadn't seen our dog.

i think it's safe to say our dog is gone :/


I just a craigslist post tonight saying they found a lost Chihuahua on the same street that we lost our dog two days ago. No picture or description though. I'm praying that it's our Dutchess.

and equally amazed that she could consumed a 12 inch subway sub in a matter of seconds

I hope your dog is found safely but seriously, if you ever get another dog, at least make a slight attempt at training it. It is ridiculous to allow a dog to do what you just said she does.

She was a puppy. We did train her eventually to pee outside/sit/stop eating shit off our tables. But I was just reminiscing on her puppy stages when she was so innocent.

Apparently the city has a really good Animal Control. So hopefully they picked up my best friend. I posted an ad on that county's craigslist and my mom apparently made flyers.

idk if it's wrong but I'd rather she be dead rn than being afraid and alone in the cold with nothing to eat or drink. She's been known to wonder off but she always came back home. She was so scarred and afraid when we first adopted her from the pound. She was a street dog who always got into trouble in our house but as she got older she adapted to the home life. She always barked and cried in her sleep like she was afraid to be in the streets again. And now she is and I can only imagine how frightened she must be ughhhh :(.

My dad moved about two hours north for work and my mom went to go visit him and took two of my dogs.

She left them out in the front to go pee and she said she was only gone for a few seconds and she was gone. This was at 12:30AM this morning. They searched for a little bit but then went to bed. I don't know why they stopped searching. She couldn't have gone that far why didn't get keep searching man.

She was a Chihuahuamix that we picked up from the pound when I was 10 years old. Now I'm 22 and I miss my dog so much. She was getting old but now she's lost in an unknown place and probably dead :(. She gets scared from fireworks and I know all the pre-4th fireworks are probably scaring the fuck out of her right now if she is alive. I hope she's okay.

I'm just upset I can't go search myself. I wouldn't have given up I would have looked all night. She has a hurt hip she doesn't even walk fast I don't know what the fuck my parents were thinking.

She was such a loyal dog and wasn't loud and obnoxious like other Chihuahua dogs.
