The current version has a larger pen than the Note and it's more versatile. The only sucky part is that the pen is no longer internal like in the Note tablets, it attaches magnetically to the back so it's easily lost unless you buy the cover which has a flap that holds it securely. The current Tab S8 is available with up to a 14.6" screen in the Ultra model, it's currently $1400 from Samsung for the top end 512GB version. The base model 11" Tab S8 is $600 with 128GB. The basic cover runs about $100, the keyboard cover costs $350 and allows the tablet to be used like a laptop. I've tried the Waycom tablets. Those take a while to get used to not drawing on the screen and looking at the monitor while you are drawing. Once you get it down, the quality is pretty good and it is very versatile. The Wacom Cintiq and One incorporate a display so you can draw on the screen just like a tablet. The Cintiq is very popular among the artists that I know. The Wacom One has a 13" screen and runs about $350, the Cintiq starts at about $600 for a 16" screen and goes up to about $2000 for the 24" Cintiq Pro. There was a 32" version, but it appears to be discontinued; the MSRP was over $3300. The One has only 4096 levels of pen pressure and has only 1 button on the pen, the Cintiq base model has 8192 levels and 2 buttons on the pen. But you can't wash them, and they're too expensive to just throw away. So I put them inside a special cover that I can remove to wash.
