Solution: Armed Guards, security checkpoints, Armed Teachers pfffff haha

Exactly my point when it comes to school shootings. We waste resources across the board on something that is incredibly unlikely to occur in most places.

Some places do need these precautions. Most don't.

94% of school shootings occur in public schools and only 6% in private. Gun violence is an issue in places, but it isn't anywhere near across-the-board in the US like everyone makes it out to be.

Using your 101 number:

98,755 public schools
101 shootings
2 years

(101 / 98,755) / 2 = 0.000511% chance of a shooting happening in a given school per year

Number of mass shootings in The United Kingdom for 2022:

ONE! One mass shooting if you can even call 1 dead 4 injured a mass shooting.

The UK has had SIX mass shootings this CENTURY and 28 since the start of the 20th Century.

Just when the hell is the US going to ban guns?

Congratulations, you are on par or worse than Kansas, Louisiana, Utah, Massachusetts, Hawaii, Washington DC, Arkansas, Arizona, Mississippi, Iowa, Nebraska, New Jersey and Alabama according to this source:

https://www.statista.com/statistics/811541/mass-shootings-in-the-us-by-state/

These numbers don't look quite right, but I suppose it all depends on how you define a mass shooting.

705 in a population of 333, 287, 559 people and 19,000 cities isn't really as big of a problem as the number seems. If it was a small country or confined to a single state, then yes, it would be a gigantic issue.

Another example is that there is about a 0.0003% chance of a school having a shooting in the USA, but the running joke is it happens all the time.

When you look at the big picture, there are much more concerning issues.

I never said mass shootings weren't an issue, just that they aren't really as frequent or as big of an issue as it seems considering the size of the United States. I randomly picked automobiles and drug deaths and they are far greater than gun deaths considering 60% of gun deaths in a year are suicides.

Can't speak specifically to one movie, but I did a google search of greatest comedies for each year.

It seems like 2008 or 2009 was the last year with multiple 'good' comedy movies and it gradually gets worse and worse as you get closer to present day.

Not very scientific, but I'd say something like Role Models / Step Brothers / Tropic Thunder.

There are many comedies from previous years that are much better IMO.

You still need to do this.

My advice would be to not get a credit card and just get a card that pulls from a checking account. That way you can't spend what you don't have.
