I play real life Mahjong, but I just can't do the Yakuza versions. They use Japanese scoring system which is much more complicate and weird than the Canton system which is straight forward.

Before Alice rolls, the number is this

Kai: 42 (30+5+5+2)
Joe: 21 (30-2-2-5)
Alice: 27 (30-5+2)

Therefore, she will need to roll a 1 to get the below

Kai: 41 (30+5+5+2)-1
Joe: 20 (30-2-2-5)-1
Alice: 29 (30-5+2)+2

So many random places with items that's hard to see. Played 10 hours, and I spent half of them checking for hidden items. Yet, I literally have no bullets..... I don't remember the first one being so infuriating. Probably the areas are so huge now.

Also, Amazon for some reason is shipped me the European version twice. Received my first copy and it has a PEGI logo on it. Asked for a replacement, and it gets lost in the mail for 3 weeks. Third replacement is also a European version, but luckily the lost copy showed up and it's the American version.

Could be wrong, but I don't think so. I noticed that promo where, if you spend $500 in the first 6 months, I think you get like a hundred bucks or something

I'm pretty sure the currant promo is $200 after spending $500 within 3 months. This can be easily done if you use your card for every purchases.

Sounds like you have multiple credit cards. I hear that's a thing, especially in the Reddit community. People will sign up for multiple credit cards and use them each during specific times. Although I think it's brilliant to do, for me I'm a beginner and I know I would probably fuck myself over at some point. I'm just too uneducated to do something like that.

That's call churring, and I feel that subreddit goes super extreme in their method. I have 3 main cards that pretty much gets me all the points I need.

Chase Freedom Unlimited: My everyday card. Using it gives me 1.5% for everything. They actually bumped dinning to 3% recently, and that made me use it even more. No annual fee makes this my favorite card.
Chase Freedom: This is for special purchases depending on the quarter categories. For this Oct-Dec, purchases using Paypal or Walmart gets me 5%. Note that categories change every quarter, and sometimes that quarter sucks. But it has no annual fee, so no point in canceling it.
Chase Freedom Sapphire: For traveling internationally and car rental insurances. It covered me when my rental window got smashed from a break in, and I didn't pay a cent. It lets me pool all my earn points from the 3 cards together for travel purchases. You can also transfer those points to certain airlines, and use them as miles. Dining is also 2%, but it got beaten by the Chase Freedom Unlimited recently so I don't use it as much now. This one has a $95 annual fee though.

I also have a Target Redcard for 5% off since I shop at Target alot, but that is just a debit card so it has no affect on my credit. I also have an AMEX and Discover card, but I don't use it anymore and it has no annual fee.

I was looking it up and apparently if you want your credit score to go up, you should not simply pay your bills when you get them, instead you should do payment plans and incur some interest rates of some kind.

I'm not sure you want to paid extra money for a few extra credit points. Just use your card for everything, and paid it off at the end of the week. I did this for my first year of using credit card, and my score jump from lows 700s to the high 700s. After 2 years, I'm in the mid 800s, and it's been there ever since.

Start with Chase Freedom Unlimited. 3x points for dinning, 1.5x points for everything else.

Once your credit gets better, get a Chase Sapphire Preferred to transfer your points into UR points and use it for travel.

dont soak it anymore. you want the wound to dry out. keep weight off it for a few days and you'll be fine. the blackness is likely some form of blood blister and those always look worse then they are.

Interesting, the podiatrist told me to soak twice a day, 10 min each with warm water and epsom salt.

you can get them to burn the root so it wont grow back like that. it might not take, but the one toe i had that done to now has a nail that doen't fully attach to the bed. means that if it begins to get ingrown i can very easily remove the offending nail.

I got that done. Anyways, any tip to heal faster? I just did a 10 min salt soak, and I'm going to take a shower next to wash off the dried blood. Going to put some neosporin on it afterward.

Yeah, it be like that.

Mine perpetually get re-ingrown. So basically I have to get a toe down every other year or so. It's obnoxious.

The podiatrist actually put some chemical to kill the root so it won't grow back. She was hesitant at first since it's my first ingrown, but I told her I rather not have this again and she did it.

I contacted the company for for two warranty replacement parts for my product 2 weeks ago. Part #1 shipped via UPS Ground, and I got it in 4 days. Part #2 was shipped via UPS Smartpost, which goes from UPS to USPS to me.

According to the UPS tracking, UPS gave USPS my item on 11/12/20, and as of 11/18 morning, USPS tracking still says awaiting shipment. So I called UPS, and they say they delivered to USPS 11/12 and there's nothing to do on their end and told me to contact the shipper. I called USPS, and they say they didn't receive it from UPS, and to contact the shipper if the item is lost. I called the company, and after being on hold for 50 minutes, the lady requested a replacement shipment for the part. All is good right? Well, the original package just shown up in my mail room when I went to get my mail. Literally 2 hours after I call for a replacement shipment, USPS tracking updated to package received from UPS, and it got delivered today.

Now my question is, what should I do. Do I call and spend another 50 minutes on hold to tell them I got the original package, or do I not say anything and let the company deal with it themselves? I received an email from the company saying it's been delivered, so they know.

TopicIs San Francisco the hardest city to drive in the US?
andrewl923
09/28/20 8:27:02 PM
#28
I live and drive in SF

* Hills in the city to add complexity
Hills are avoidable if you are not going to the residential areas. You can get around the city driving on flat streets.

* Many unusual rules (For example, no left turns during a certain time period)
Just don't turn left during the time posted. It's during rush hour anyways, and I'm happy that rule is in place.

* Constant traffic always
That's a given in any cities.

* More aggressive drivers compared to other cities
Totally disagree. People are super willing to let cars cut in line in front of them, almost to a fault IMO.

* Homeless People and Pedestrians to worry about
Agree, especially in the TL. I shutter whenever I'm stuck in a red light there.

* Almost all parallel parking
Parallel parking is a problem?

* Have to share streets with bikes and streetcars
* Grid only in some parts
Streetcars are in their own lanes. There's always another lane next to it. Bikers can be annoying if they are in the middle of the lane, but most of the time they let you pass when they get the chance. Also, SF is pretty much a built in a grid. Compare that to navigating in Daly City which goes west and south for you to drive north.
