Lately, though, I've been recalling terrible incidents that I had repressed. I was the victim of a series of cruel pranks, which involved my colleagues repeatedly trying to get me to drink toilet water, which they'd fill into my bottle. Some people at my old workplace used to do the same, as did my family sometime after my graduation.

hybrid, 1 day per week-ish. like the office enough but it's far, it's too much to deal with traffic every day and not worth it if my team is all at home

zoom, any kind of video chat I just hate it. everybody still treats it as a temp situation, almost nobody has bothered to upgrade video or audio quality yet so they just cut off or barely visible or we can't understand them.

I mean there is more to life than work, senior engs have family sometimes young children, OK I get that, but during core hours should I really only be able to reach my seniors about half the time? other things like this

It's a shame what beer hipsters did to IPAs. A traditional mild IPA can be really good, but about 12 years ago, a collective movement happened where it became a race to see who could make the most sickeningly hoppy IPA possible.

Well, I disagree, it's not a shame and I am not ashamed to say I love the sickeningly hoppy IPAs.
As for macros I have to say that PBR and Coor Banquet (Original) are the best in their own ways.

I just spend 30 dollars on Tunic, and that is the sale price. it is good but seems like more of a $10-15 dollar kind of good.

They think they are being denied b/c of so called 'underperforming' Blacks/Hispanics. But what some of them don't understand, admissions to Colleges/University's is more than just 'Grades/SAT/GPA' they also consider 'intangibles' such as Social work, Community Service, etc.

Nobody wants a bunch of anti-social workaholic bots walking around in their books all day, if that's the only criteria of getting in.

all that is pretty much bs though, let's be honest University is a place to study and do research, why should it matter what is the colour of your skin or extracurriculars?

most university admission in Canada is based solely on grades and I was always grateful for that.

I just spent the last 4 days swimming in a river. The majority of the lakes and rivers around my place are beautiful. No uh, 'muck' smell. Durrance and Killarney are my favourites. You can listen to all the baby eagles at Killarney during the right season.

Hell yes Good place to have a picnic with the fat Red Barn sandwich.
though as someone who also grew up in the area. Beaver Lake for one is not somewhere I would swim.

I just find my free time now is too restrictive to really get invested like I used to. I love games perhaps more than ever, but if I only get a few hours per week to play and there are distractions and interruptions etc, I just would sometimes rather do something else.

Every once in a while something like Zelda TOTK comes out and I just consoom the hell out of it and it takes me back to the old days where I don't give a shit and just game game game.

I liked Elden Ring where I feel that there were basically 3 tiers of things to do: story, then optional stuff, then extra optional stuff. I got all achievements before getting bored and so I felt like I had a good benchmark of where that line is.
