I really want Tifa to win here even though I have MMX in my bracket but I can't see that happening. If Mega Man X is as strong or even close to MM than there is no way for Tifa to win. I mean, I am not sure about Cloud>Mega Man anymore, so it's hard to take Tifa over MMX.

I have Sora in my bracket but I thought KH characters would be stronger due to KH3 excitement, but the previous round doesn't show any boost for KH characters at all. Red will probably win easily.

oh wow, I wasn';t aware of that. Having two different voice actors for the same character is going to be weird, unless the new lines are not voiced at all which would be the better option. It's not deal breaker for me but a poor decision by them.

No, the fanbase is not to 'blame'. Bioware made a game, fans didn't like it. End of story. It's the developer's responsibility to make a good game that the fans want, they are selling us the game. They want us to pay money for their product. If you go to a restaurant and not like the food, do you blame yourself for not liking the food or the restaurant for not making the food good enough?

it has nothing to do with sci-fi or space genre. What about FF13? DMC2? Suikoden 4? RE6? and the list goes on. When you make a bad game, the fanbase will react negatively and sometimes it's bad enough to kill a franchise. Also Mass Effect series didn't have to die. The reviews were bad but the game according to EA financial reports still sold well. They could have released some good story DLC (Like something involving the Quarians which there was huge demand for) but instead they called it quit. If Bioware were to make another ME game that is actually good, the fanbase would buy it. Dragon Age 2 was disappointing but they made a much better sequel in Inquisition and the DA franchise is in a very good position now.

Very weird how you guys blame the fans and not the developers.

It's kind of sad seeing some of these characters who used to be strong now struggling to beat low tier Nintendo characters just because of Smash.

I mean Nintendo winning most of the matches is normal but it feels like it's been taken to a new level because so many other characters have fallen off in the last five years.

why are you angry at the fanbase and not EA/Bioware? if ME3 and Andromeda were as good as ME1 and ME2, the series would still be alive and Shepard would still be relevant.
