I just remember that Nintendo pretty much spoiled all of XY and SM before release. It was so boring.

SS had less leaks, but. The game had nothing to leak anyway.

Gen 5 was really bad iirc. I remember pretty much seeing the entire roster, maps, everything.

4- 3D collect-a-thon on Playstation that wasnt niche.

5- Very near the ps2 launch, was was mega hyped, possibly one of the most interesting generation leaps, after the ps1.

Matched a girl on Okcupid. She tells me she is married, off the bat. (This is common here, as marriage laws make it almost impossible to get divorced unless both partners agree to it. Even if the other is a terrible person and can be proven awful). I hesitate, but give her a chance, ask for her story. She tries to rush hard. It is tempting. We talk a lot. But the more we talk, the more i notice red flags.

-She flatters me, in strong ways. Like, telling me everything is right about me, like I have all the qualities she wants, we are so similar, etc. Narcissistic trap stuff.

-She later tells me she JUST finished with another guy. He had to go back to his home country, but part of my gut tells me he wanted to bail, based on the details of her story.

-Her husband didnt sound that bad. I even asked her if it was really over, and if she really knew it. She talked to him, and he obviously still loved her. She even slept with him because she needed to test it. Twice. Once she thought because i was pushing her away. Whether that was true or not, says a lot. I did not want to hurt this guy. She claimed he was ok with her dating, as long as she didnt leave. I kind of believe that, but it honestly made me feel so sad for the guy. I think he felt neglected and was suffering from overwork and lack of affection.

• I told her many times i felt uncomfortable, and she said she would slow down. Then she would speed up to 100 the next day. I think i sensed some manipulation going on.

there was so much more. Alarms were going off in my mind, but every time i tried to bail, she made me feel so awful about it.

I think i finally made her tired of my wishy-washiness though, so at least it worked. I was worried if i blocked her, she would stalk me or do something weird.

Why do people like it?

ExDeath was a great villain, because he was just evil. Made you want to beat him. Same with Kefka. And Luca Blight. Maleficent, Homelander, Joker.

Sephiroth got some pity moments, but he crossed a line, and never looked back, which also worked.

Kuja was unhinged and only realized his error on his deathbed. He did seem to get some recognition in Dissidia though.
