On this joyous day 13 years ago, in 2009, i was playing Left 4 Dead with some CEmen. one guy decided it would be HILARIOUS to team kill us while spamming this song over the mic. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nMVVGj0iLSI

i asked him later what song that was saying, and i quote, "I'm gonna put that on my iPod"

and i did! i genuinely thought the song was addicting and cute and when i saw the performance and the girls i was HOOKED. i shared that with CE and the rest is history.

now, 13 years later, i'm still a fan of kpop, despite CE telling me it was just a phase. kpop has grown so much in the last 13 years. my current fave group is TWICE! i love Dahyun! but i will never forget SNSD.

For those who didn't read the article:

A couple needed to take some adoption courses, and a church was offering them but only for Christians. I believe it was a church, and the couple is jewish.

The couple then went to another org to get the courses done, but sued the church for what they did.

Court said "meh, you got the courses done, dismissed."

for the record, this is religious discrimination and its bullshit.

Basically, a Free Company (i.e. a player guild) put up REAL bill board ads advertising their erotic roleplay parties hosted in the game.

Worst of all, the ad contains the official FF14 logo, mods used to model the characters and datamined outfits not yet available in game. Can't do any of that, especially the copyright infringement with the logo. and when the FC was confronted with this, their response was basically "lmao who they gonna sue?"
