| _BIueMonk 12/08/21 11:16:08 AM #19 | back when i was CreditMonk, i saved up enough points for my wife and i to fly business class from the west coast of the US to South Korea. a 14 hour flight, on Asiana airlines. it was really a once in a life time experience, unless somehow i get rich again. the seats were big and wide and could fold down into a bed. they were in little pods for privacy too. the food was restaurant quality, and you could ask for as many snacks as you wanted. sandwiches, ramen, fruit, etc. but the best part was the airport lounge you can stay at as part of the package. we flew from LAX, and since Asiana is part of Star Alliance, we could go to the Star Alliance Lounge there. free liquor, free restaurant quality food, nice spaces, tvs, etc. it as awesome. anyway if we had to pay cash, i think it would have cost us 20,000 dollars lmao so uh. yeah. --- DAHYUN = <3 https://imgur.com/bv71aAd |

Still not sure if that cord I tried was a phone cable or a Ethernet cable. It fit into the mobo port just fine so it might be dead. But that would basically be just like using wi-fi at that point, right?you can but then thats the only thing that will be connected. Routers are actually 3 things in one. A wifi point, a switch which is what you put the ethernet into, and the actual thing that does the "routing". the switch part is what splits up the internet connection. the router part is the computer in it that makes sure things go to where they need to go, and the wifi in it lets you connect to wifi instead of the swtich part. in an ideal set up, you'd have cable company > modem> router> ethernet> computer. but yeah if you dont have the ability to run a cable, you're stuck with wifi which sucks. interference, slow speeds, lost data so its slower. but there are options for getting a better connection if you need to. which is usually just running a cable lol. i do for my house. i hide them in cable channels so they dont look bad. --- DAHYUN = <3 https://imgur.com/bv71aAd |
