I came to Suikoden very late and have only played Suikoden 1 and half of Suikoden 2, but I'm dropping about $125 or so I think on Eiyuden. Recruiting 100+ characters and town building mechanics with a lot of other minigames and systems built into it sings so very sweetly to me. Also the way they laid out the Kickstarter was very convincing as well. And what little we've seen of the battle system looks gorgeous.

I'm super hyped for this despite not really considering myself a Suikoden fan.

The teams that I've decided to cheer for are Thunderbolt's, Green Ducks, Team Momo, Mellow Yellow, and Midnight Wisps. I'm not yet sure which team I'll throw my fandom behind, but that's kind of a general order of how I'm leaning.

My first time around I went Yukari / Rise / Ann, but in my Royal playthrough I switched to Hifumi. However, I don't doubt that Makoto is a great candidate and was torn between her and Hifumi.

All four shows were a large part of my childhood entertainment growing up, but Rugrats was my first love so I had to vote for it despite maybe considering Hey Arnold! and Rocko's Modern Life to have higher quality, at least as an older individual.

Yeah I'm not subscribing to the drug-related quarrel part, but the maddening thing is the fact that the killer was arrested within 24 hours and is being charged with murder. Justice is being served meaning protests and outcry by the public aren't necessary.

I upped my pledge to the Physical and Digital tier because I have no idea which platform I'll want to play it on so I'm just choosing both PC and console to be safe. Physical will be console (most likely PS5) and Digital will be PC, which I'm hoping isn't just a steam code or something because I'd rather have it not tied to a Steam account.

Fall Guys releasing for free on PS+ is going to be awesome for building the player base. I've been following it since early on and am really excited that it will get a very strong launch. I doubt it has the staying power that Rocket League does, but it should make for a super fun couple of months as everyone is talking about it.

After three months, Game of the Decade of the Year has come to a close. Two hundred games, eight rounds with varying rule sets, and one winner. I'm not going to make this topic anything but saying thanks to everyone who participated in the voting. There were over 40 voters in the last round, so I was happy to see the votals get higher towards the end, rather than people drop off once their favorite games fell off. This contest was a lot of work, especially near the end as the length of the contest started to weigh on me, but it was worth it. I'd say the UotY format still holds up, and hey, maybe it'll come back in another form some day.

I'd post the final placements, but I seemed to lose some information in the copy and pasting throughout the contest as I moved games from contention to elimination. This entire thing has been a learning process for me, so I apologize for the hiccups that have popped up here and there. Thanks for sticking with me for whatever length you, dear reader, did.

Here's to contests on Board 8! I appreciate and thank you for your patronage.

This is the current score with an hour left in Day 3. Third place holds a 48 point lead over fourth. If anything about this result were to change, people would need to willingly vote against the games they've been voting for. I understand there has been some dissent, but none of it has offered a compelling reason to continue this slaughter, in my opinion. If there was going to be a surge, it would've already happened.

And let me also shamefully offer this: this contest has been running for three months now. I'm ready to see how the finals shake out and take a rest from it.

What I'm saying is, Day 3 is going to be the last day for this round. I'm sorry for anybody who had their heart set on seeing all five days, but the truth is, if I could re-do the round with this same exact ruleset (I wouldn't), it would be three days to begin with.

I didn't miss that vote. It's written as -7 and -3, which isn't allowed under the ruleset. I didn't catch it before tallying time, but I can tell @MXCM now that you can only negative -5.
