White people aren't being demonized for their race. The name calling is done by people with less power than them. If you compare their struggle of being called white online against the hardships of minorities, they don't hold the same weight. Do you honestly think being called a white boy/girl or any other white slur to describe white people is equivalent to the history of systematic oppression used against minorities? The slurs were used to make them seem non-human and to elevate the white race. White kids are doing fine. This white guilt isn't prevalent as you make it seem. How many white people get up feeling scared or ashamed just for being white. White people don't get racially profiled for their race, discriminated for their race, have stereotypical caricatures about their race or face as much discrimination as any minority in their daily lives . Even the white stereotypes don't have any detrimental impacts on their culture or well-being. Yeah there's white people who are in bad situations but they still deal with less obstacles than if they were a minority in that situation. We're not trying to downplay your success if you worked hard for it but just want you to understand that we didn't get the same opportunities as easily as you received them. ShotOJameson posted... It probably does, but personally I would never take advantage of it. It makes me feel like crap to get something over someone else based on something as trivial as skin color. Fuck that, that aint right man. If you're white you're already benefiting from it. But they're in an industry that thrives on racial stereotypes and exploiting women. Good for them if they don't want to do this parody but they'll likely to find someone else to play the role. It's just how the US directors butcher it by changing the premises of the adapted film. Also don't just whitewash the main characters like in Dragon ball evolution or Ghost in the Shell. You already have Asian cast members in there but you use a white lead seems out of place and has the 'white savior' undertone in it. How likely would adult Killua be stronger than the Royal Guards when characters like his father and grandpa didn't want to get involved in fighting them. But with Nen, Killua could always get some asspull power-up like Gon did or omnipotent powers from Alluka.
