There are a bunch of people that I thought I would have time to draw waifu for as prizes. There are some users that I wanted to draw stuff for that are no longer here on CE and that's kind of a bummer.

Though, I am pretty stoked that there are some other drawing topics on CE so that's rad. I was hoping to bust at least one more waifu out before this topic reached five hundo. Been working a ton and have vacation time coming up so I'll probably be taking some time off soon. Hoping to start drawing some real spooky monsters.

My next project is going to be drawing something very lude for Turbam's discord.

I had a pet bird that I loved dearly. He was in the family for almost 20 years. My brother's damn cat got him and terrorized him. He died of shock in the vets office shortly after. I've always hated cats ever since.

I wanted to download RE8 for PC this weekend but didn't have any time. I've been looking forward to it for months so I'll get around to playing it either this week or this weekend.

I'm actually playing a ton of older games.

I'm trying to beat Genma Onimusha for Xbox and it's kicking my ass.

I'm also playing Ico/ Shadow of the Colossus HD on PS3.

I think I might start Okami for Wii later next month.

It seems like all of these games were heavy inspiration for Zelda: Twilight Princess based on what I've seen so far.

As for newer games, there are a ton of new skate maps uploaded for Skater XL. That's kind of been my game aside from retro stuff.

I've decided to get two separate desks. One for gaming and work and another primarily for art.

This is a great idea. I'm currently using my desk as a computer workstation as well as a drawing space and I personally prefer to have a dedicated space just for art.

It's so much better for work flow. Good call.

Monster Hunter is a huge time investment. I've always loved the MH games but I simply don't have time for such large games. The last one I dipped into was Monster Hunter Tri for the Wii. They are probably some of the best looking games I have seen but I can't see myself investing the time required to play them.

The next winner of the waifu prize giveaway is @OffTempo . I want everyone in this topic to know how inspired I was to push though because of their support and OffTempo has been on the frontlines of this topic since the very beginning.



Don't think that your efforts keeping the topic bumped have gone unnoticed. Especially early in the list and many CEpeople were first dealing with Covid-19. It was a dark time for many and some are still struggling. Hopefully my drawings have made somebody's day (or night) brighter.

Has anybody played the Lion King board game? I haven't played it in years but if I had one board game that I thought was fun it was that one.

edit: apparently it's back in print :)
I also used to play the Gargoyles board game back in the day. It was one of those weird board games that made you play a VHS tape in the background.

Ahh sorry to hear. I've never really properly experienced snow in my life so far. What do you usually do when snowed in?

Probably work on my insane backlog of games. Although gaming has been put on the back burner since I have a ton of other creative projects (the least of which waifu).

My boss is likely going to close the facility on Saturday and Sunday if the weather is nasty. I have weekends off anyway so meh.

I've been trying to use weekends to catch up on art projects but I usually just end up sleeping in and goofing off.

I figured I'd keep the topic going. 500 posts isn't even that far off and the fun is only getting started. To close the topic out, I will be posting even more waifu to satisfy the needs of CE. Everyone who has posted or will post in this topic may have a waifu drawn for them as a participation prize. Winners will be chosen at random :)

So here's What I have decided to do with the artwork, I will not be backing up the waifu online at this time, it would be tedious and isn't one of my goals at the moment. As a consolation I present to you The Book of Waifu. It is a physical book that represents the virtue and resiliency of the CEpeople. I will continue adding pages to this book.




Perhaps one day it will become an ancient tome, a window into the world of Current Events and how we lived during this time.

I hope everyone out there is staying safe. It's been a bumpy ride in the last years and things are hard everywhere. Take care of your mental and physical well-being.

Thanks. It really is. The apartment is still a mess and not quite as tight as I would like it to eventually be but yeah, I'm happy with the situation so far. I have the living room set up as my drawing office/ retro game room so the vibe is creative as well.

I plan on cranking out a shit ton of art this year once all the pieces are in place.
