Shroobs are such a bad villain for an M&L game. They aren't funny, they aren't a clever spin on alien invaders. They're just generic malicious alien invaders. Spiteful, angry, with bland designs (for M&L games--compare them with somebody like Cackletta) and not much personality at all. It felt so out of place in a M&L game and I remember playing through the game as a kid and expecting some kind of plot twist or revelation of their motivation. Even at the final dungeon. But nope.

It was especially disappointing coming off the backs of Cackletta/Bowletta and Fawful.

Guys, none of that is actually muscle. He's not strong. It's synthol--oil he injected into his body to try to inflate himself. It doesn't even look remotely like muscle. And it's very unhealthy to add that much.

Not sure if he's Brazilian, but it wouldn't surprise me if he is, since it's bizarrely common to use synthol to blow yourself into an ugly freak there.

The thing is, I might have lost my SA citizenship when I became a US citizen. So IDK if I ever had the three concurrently.

We came to America as foreigners and were naturalized. My UK citizenship is inherited from my dad, who was born and raised there. Since I haven't looked back at South Africa since we came to America, I'm guessing my citizenship there is long gone

After the date, I told him I had fun but don't think we're right to date. I said I'd be up to be friends, though.

He joked about being friends with benefits, which I'd be fine with, but I didn't reply. Today he sent another text and IDK how to reply:

"OK I want to be friends, but first I'd like to know your reason(s) for not wanting to date"

Ugh. can you not?

Okay, so my reason is mainly that I just didn't feel the connection from our conversation. He's handsome but I could tell we have different senses of humor and I also felt like he was coming on a little too fast for my liking. He also is 13 years older than me, which I didn't realize at first since he doesn't look it.

Is it worth trying to be friends with him? I feel like him asking that question makes it awkward. I can just tell him everything I said in the last paragraph, but I don't want to, especially because he and I go to the same hiking meetup group and it'd make things awkward
