They've only talked a couple times, but I do like the Cheetah's chemistry with Roz'etta.

Roz'etta likes to take her time in conversations, while Cheetah is very, very easily bored by anything that seems to be dragged out, forcing Roz'etta to pivot to get Cheetah re-engaged.

Right now Roz'etta, on top of planning for Lamumba's return, is investigating deals made between heroes and villains, like Cheetah sparring with Wonder Woman, to see if there are other people who might have fallen in the cracks in the Society.

as for this hint...my gut is feeling Cheetah.

Roz'etta was moved enough by Fiddler's sacrifice that she asked Snapper to get her a fiddle.

It's a small, damaged thing, and doesn't see much use, but in a way it's Roz'etta's means to honor the man's death.

Nite-Wing is one of those Society members who bought into the idea of the Society, but didn't reach the logical endpoint until he saw it for himself.

It's absolutely what he would have done based on No Man's Land. He just can never stop being Nite-Wing.

Nocturna's refusal to give an inch, ever, no matter what, at least until she gets so frustrated that she has to, is a big part of her appeal.

As for this honorable mention...Hralkaar?

Encantadora is one of those characters who controls every scene she's in, and it's fun to see the PCs embracing playing the fool enchanted by her whims.

Sersy is there too. As someone unfamiliar with the Blue Lanterns outside of Saint Walker and also only listening in on the session, my ears perked up wondering why nobody was freaking out over Circe of all people being a Blue Lantern.

...Of course, it was Sersy, not Circe, and scar got a laugh at the realization when I brought it up post-session that Sersy and Circe sound the same.

The Wonder Woman cliffhanger was one of the best 'well shit, that's not good' moments of the campaign.

Lashina has maybe the best character story of anyone in the campaign. She's really,,,just the best.

When Roz'etta was captured by the League of Assassins thanks to the forced assistance of Brennus's mom Varra, Lashina was one of the Suicide Squad sent to rescue her.

Lashina asked Roz'etta where the best place for fun is, and Roz'etta pointed her in a direction of a former nightclub. When Roz'etta, slightly charrmed by Lashina's song and strength and struggling after having her love ripped out of her by the Patchwork, sought out Lashina later, she found the New God had ultimately chose a stadium with wild Devil Horses, for it gave her something to tame. Lashina found Roz'etta endearing enough, and wanted to show her the freedom in servitude, and thus Lashina became Roz'etta's rebound, as Oracle would put it.

But where Oracle was wrong is that somewhere in there Roz'etta grew to feel love for Lashina, something Lashina, as a Darkseid loyalist to the bone, wasn't able to do, and Roz'etta wasn't going to ask her to, knowing Lashina's life revolved around Darkseid above all, and that Lashina was going to leave at her earliest opportunity, which she did. Lashina did ask Roz'etta to join her on the trip to Apokolips though, knowing herself that Roz'etta was bound to her duty to Earth, as a way of proving that the way of Apokolips, that there is freedom in servitude, was truth.

However, when they met in Skartaris Lashina had been infected with hope, which has allowed other feelings to infect her. Where Darkseid was, now Lashina talks about Roz'etta being bound to her forever, which Roz'etta has translated as an attempt from someone whose knowledge of life is extremely limited at a romantic expression.

So really, while they were 'together' for about a year during No Man's Land, they've only truly become a thing very recently.

also Ice is in that Sue area where you can feel how great she is just from talking to the people close to her. Nobody phases Guy and Fire like Ice does.

I know this is going to sound crazy, but I feel like Giannis sometimes holds that team down. They work best when they are sharing the ball and doing their thing. With Giannis in, it's the Giannis show and it all goes through him, which means if he's having a bad game, and not sharing while he's at it, the team suffers.

This team without Giannis is tied 1-1 with the 8th best team in the East.

the left unsaid part of the scene where Susie met Tomorrow Woman and declared her perfect was that Tomorrow Woman swung Susie around, making Susie happy!

The relationship between the hero and the person is one of my favorite things to explore in comics.

Everything Clark Kent is makes Superman great, everything the public persona of Bruce Wayne isn't makes Batman great. We all love Oracle in the campaigns, but it's because of Barbara, yet so much of her self-worth is tied into Oracle.

Meanwhile, Steve Dayton and Mento are both completely at odds with one another. Steve would be happier if Mento didn't exist, and Mento...well, Steve Dayton may as well not exist to Mento, just another little inferior mind compared to the all-greatness that is Mento.

It's so good.

The idea that William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet is actually more in line with things like Mel Brooks' History of the World than an original fictional drama is both tragic and hilarious world-building.

any and all QB contracts going forward are a victory for the Chiefs, because any team paying any QB remotely in the ballpark of Mahomes money is an advantage

Patch and T.C. being so friendly with each other after the horrible betrayal just makes the animal drama even funnier.

The gang rivalry as an enemy thing only really exists in Pixie and Data 7's heads and nobody else's. Just perfect.

T.C. is always in holding where he belongs.

In general I like the very idea of Rot Lop Fan talking to Roz'etta, because Roz'etta's greatest sense by far is her vision, while Rot Lop Fan is more or less the opposite.

My undrafted Lantern guess is...Soranik?

Ferdinand is a character who benefitted from me really wanting to talk to him, but waiting until I know I have something good to talk to him about. His respect for her, especially since they first met with him putting her face up against a stove for being a Martian, really felt like a big piece of growth for both of them from where they started.

It was a big to-do to get the island of Lesbos, which itself is merely the first step towards Greece to get the coins to get to Kithira for Ferdinand's brother, on the board, but it came with such a feeling of purpose. It wasn't being done for the sake of saving the world, it was done for the sake of giving a proper funeral for a character we never met, but whose brother we've known since almost the beginning of the campaign. Well, and for Eros, who Roz'etta is also helping for a friend, but mostly it's for Ferdinand.

Since they have both fallen, it's time to tell a little story of Thinker, K'Ray, and Roz'etta.

When Roz'etta went to question K'Ray pre-Secret Six about Darkseid, Lashina, and such, she considered the possibility that K'Ray would be suspicious, or that there would be tiny details she would only get through re-watching the talk to him. As such, she conspired with Thinker, that she would ask him to turn off his security cameras, and he would fake doing so.

Thinker responded by declaring that he would do what he does when agents go to shower.

It would turn out K'Ray was very open about everything, just suffering the effects of no longer being connected to his hive, but just the little set-up is a quality memory of Roz'etta prep and Thinker being Thinker.

I love K'Ray too! He was in contention for my last pick!

He calls Roz'etta the Red Lady and taught her how to fly. He's a sweetie.
