It reminds me of the time the Authority was sick of CM Punk's constant controversy as he would say or do anything in his pursuit to become the greatest superstar of all time.

The Authority became so enraged by having to deal with the aftermath of CM Punk's ceasless disputation and talking that they went so far as to name John Cena the actual WWE champion and proceeded to turn off CM Punk's microphone every time he tried to speak.

CM Punk didn't get the message and continued to say whatever he wanted, when he wanted causing The Authority to go the absolute most extreme lengths ever as they got the 6 foot 10, 336 pound Devil's Favorite Demon Corporate Kane to handle it by Chokeslaming the noisy Second City Saint through an annouce table at the 2014 Royal Rumble.

This action was so brutal that it rendered CM Punk broken and in mortal fear for his life. Causing him to not appear in public again for almost entire decade. During his absence times changed. Eventually Kane had retired and the Authority was gone, allowing CM Punk to re-emerge to thunderous applause in Chicago as he entered a new era:

And you have to wonder if the same thing will happen here. Will the Authority reign forever or will things return to normal one day in the far future under new leadership?
