Then conservatives want to claim the low-paying jobs are "not for adults" and demonize low-paid workers. Well the conservatives are getting what they wanted: older people not taking those low-paying jobs. That said, in this case I'd hope there is some kind of liability for forcing workers to work in that condition with no air conditioner to the point of dehydration. This is one of those stories that sounds over the top until reading the whole thing. If you can replace "man" with "woman" or "white" with "of color" and it becomes something they would fire or suspend a teacher over, it's bad. It's not a hard concept.
