As a long time user, I will say that I did not notice anything he posted when he was a mod that was remotely as offensive as he did after being a mod.

Back in the days, nearly all the mods were pretty uptight about everything so it was hard to distinguish them.

The dude was a fucking former mod who got super radicalized and said some of the most offensive shit ever and then got banned. His story and lore will be on gamefaqs forever. He wasn't like this when he was mod or so the mods claim. It's kinda funny that the mods take this to the heart as a full insult when bringing up Admiral as a mod. You'd think they'd just own it and say "yeah I can't believe we let this guy be a mod at one point too, our bads". Instead they're all like "nononononononononon see what happen was".

What is it called when you hate a product so much that you become that product's enemys' or competitors' friend just to further your hate towards that product? Even if you don't really like the competitor all that much.

For examples, you've come to hate Pokmon so much now that you think Digimon is the greatest shit in the world as a way to show you hate towards Pokmon. You've come to hate WWE so much now that you AEW is the greatest shit in the world even though you truly don't think AEW is really that great. From what I can remember, DMC2 was still a fun game and the people who hated it said it was just too easy and there's barely a plot or not enough cutscenes. I mean, there were barely any of that in DMC1 TBF.

Admiral wasn't as bad early on. He got progressively worse during Trump's administration. The tipping point seems to have been Ahmed Mohammed. He just kinda went off the rails after that happened.

This. Tons of people radicalized during the Trump Administration but Admiral was definitely most effected on this websight. People has become bonkers.
