No, I think there's an actual label for this. Not specifically the scenario I'm describing but it's more people are willing to correct others in order to tell the truth or inform than give it from a person asking a simple question.

Let's say someone make a topic asking something. There's no posts until someone posts something incorrect and then BOOM a boat load of people then comes into tell the guy who is incorrect how incorrect he is. These boat load of people would have never posted unless the incorrect guy posted first.

Because being a Karen also means acting entitled and super special so when everything is beneath the person, bigotry will make its mark as well.

How long was your vacation? I was considering going myself but would have only had 3 days.

Left on Friday at night. Got to my hotel around 7AM. From there we started traveling a ton. Left NYC yesterday morning before 10. So really just two days.

Money wasn't a problem. Was planning to spend at the very least 3k on this vacation. Yeah NYC is pretty trashy even for Manhattan. A lot of people makes it sound like these larger than life cities are super clean and futuristic metropolises but they still have a lot of 90s and even 80s vibe too it.

After walking around 2 days straight I am super beat. My next vacation is going to see me sit around more so I'm prolly gonna go on a cruise or something similar.

Statue of Liberty. Brooklyn Bridge. China town. Central Park. Did some kayaking tours, went to some mirror skyscraping buildings, just walked a ton and went to whatever we saw was cool.

I was mostly in Manhattan area.

I'm exhausted from it and yet there were so much left to do and experience. Definitely will go back again.

I used to drive a taxi. I never put the air con on. Opened the windows. If people want to stay cool they should stay the fuck indoors and not leave the house. That was money out of my pocket if I was using fuel for ac. People should be fucking happy they are getting from A to B.

They suck too. I've been to a ton of Tech forums and the amount of e-dick measuring contests and gatekeepers was disgusting. No one really wanted to help anyone. Everyone just wanted to act like they knew everything and everyone else was dumber than them.

Yes, I was more referring to Gamefaqs and the worst offender of this Reddit. Don't really use Discord ever so don't know how it is on there.

Reddit if you even ask a question it is instantly deleted or massive downvoted with insults being upvoted. I really like when subreddits have like a daily questions thread that is always great. However, most of them don't and most of them have practices in place to discourage question asking. You can't ask a question about the game, you can't search for that question because they delete all the questions. Why does this space even exist? To post your drawing of character related to that video game for free e-points?

From my experience being on the internet, it's just people wanting to be assholes but at the same time they don't think they're being assholes. Sometimes people make these spaces, not because they genuinely want to discuss the product and help each other out, but it's just a way for them to have power over others.

Thankfully I see a lot less of this shit these days. Was much much worst over a decade ago or so.

Never understood the amount of irritation people are afflicted with when people ask questions about a game on a space specifically created for the game. All it takes is a second to ignore it if you don't want to help.

You should check the game boards here. Lots of "Do your own research!" posts towards people asking for help.
