If I did something like this, I probably would constantly fail at meeting my budget, so all it would accomplish is exacerbate the feelings of "I'm spending too much/not enough time on x" than I already have

Yeah, it took a lot of adjusting to find out the right estimate for everything. There are some weeks I do a bit more of something and less on others, just kind of depends on what my goals are for the week. Never really goes much further than the original numbers though.

In the 168 hours I have each week, and hardly deviate from the list I have for myself. I do the following each week:

  • Sleep: 63 hours (includes 8 hours of sleep and an hour of getting ready, falling asleep, and taking 10-15 minutes to wake up each morning).
  • Work: 56 hours (includes 50 work hours, commute time, and 20 minutes each day getting ready).
  • Gaming/TV: 15 hours (Any video game or tv time during the week).
  • Chores: 7 hours (laundry, dishes, sweeping, etc).
  • Dogs: 7 Hours (Feeding them, letting them out, playing with them, etc).
  • Social Media: 7 hours (scrolling, watching videos, etc).
  • Cooking: 4 hours (any meal preparation throughout the week).
  • Visiting Family: 3 hours (once a week visits).
  • Church: 3 hours (once a week).
  • Budgeting: 2 hours (setting budgets, checking accounts and statements, etc).
  • Paying bills: 1 hour (any bills that aren't covered by auto pay, following up on any mistakes).
Would you ever do something like this? Or is this way too constricting, routine, or pointless to do?
