Baseball obviously. Being an attorney would be fucking boring and stressful.

I've avoided wearing a mask so far, but I have a funeral to go to on Saturday, so I'm going to have to silently drop F-bombs about wearing one and suck it up.
Yeah, it sucks, I'll agree to that. I've had my nose broken twice (within a 2 month period) so wearing a mask now makes my sinuses go crazy and I have to breathe through my mouth... with snot constantly dripping down out my nose and back of my throat.

But I understand the benefits of the greater public and just do it instead of bitching about my "freedoms" or endangering others.

You lost any and all credibility there.

You lose, get over yourself fascist.
Apparently, being a decent human and having consideration to others makes you fascist. And here I thought it was xenophobia and close-mindedness.

the death rate is lower than what the left is claiming. just because someone had it when they died, doesn't mean that is what killed them
Really not the point.
Again, death rate becomes 100% under circumstances, and judging someone to be "healthy" just off looks is being a total fucking chess rooster.

You would rather high-risk people become unable to leave their house for basic things like groceries than suffer some minor inconveniences? And that's not even considering the fact that uncontrolled spread would almost certainly overwhelm hospitals and cause a sizable increase in mortality rate even among those who would otherwise have been fine, nor the fact that surviving treatment - though obviously better than not surviving - is a thoroughly miserable experience that seems like it will likely have longer-term health consequences. All because a handful of people got uppity because masks are uncomfortable and they want haircuts.

Get over yourself, diva.
So my wife told me a quote that I think pertains to a lot of people on the other (wrong) side of the fence.
Arguing with them is like playing chess with a rooster. Even if their wrong they'll still kick over the pieces and strut around the board as if they won.

I honestly don't care what others do providing it doesn't effect me. Likewise I'll do whatever I want within the rules set out.
Wow. As said directly in the post you quoted: This is a very selfish view of the situation.
Is it really that difficult to have a very minor inconvenience in order to help other people?

So go ahead and put your mask back on and continue to hide in your basement. As for me, I'll continue to not wear a mask and take my chances of catching a virus that has an average fatality age of 75 with compromised health factors.
This is a very selfish view of the situation. While you may not suffer the long-term effect of catching the virus, you may unwillingly spread it to someone who won't be so lucky. Not just the elderly, but anyone with immune-compromised systems or underlying heart or lung issues basically has a 100% mortality rate.

I don't understand how people can be so selfish and care free about endangering other's lives. It's a small piece of cloth to wear on your face, and it can make the difference between a few people getting sick and a few hundred sick with a dozen dead.

why risk your health driving?
I guess that means you don't follow speed limits, line restrictions, signs, or wear a seat belt then.

The problem is the mask helps in preventing you from spreading it but does minimal in preventing you from contracting it. People would rather avoid minor inconveniences than look out for the whole. Just look at anti-vaxxers.
Ya know, that's a very accurate statement.

Voted yes, but the sad fact is it is no longer required in my area. I've seen people get kicked out of smaller shops for not wearing any face protection, but it isn't a law.

Side fact: If you've got a damn mask, just wear it! Why risk your health and others going to get liquor, to get kicked out, then go back to your car and put your mask on to then return to the store to buy some Sprite and Malibu rum. Yes I'm judging you on your purchases too.
