She got fired for going on a racist conspiracy theory rants. Gunns comments were very old and he got fired because people dug them up. Its very easy to argue that he is not the same person today. not to mention Gunn is clearly remorseful for his comments while Roseanne first made every excuse she could think of, then just doubled down and kept going. i'm not even a "Gunn Apologist".
