Liberals and conservatives suck. Moderates and Centrists aren't quite the same. Moderates look for a "middle ground" on all issues. If one person says "1+1=2" and another person says "1+1=3", they'll settle for "1+1=2.5" Centrists look for the most practical/useful points regardless of whether they're "left" or "right." Hence you end up with the likes of Classical Liberalism, the American School, or perhaps an assortment of Third-Positionist ideologies. --- |

The books in the Tanakh and the Christian OT match up perfectly. The only differences are in translation and the order of the books in the respective compilations. You're correct though, much more to literature in Judaism. Oral Torah and Talmud in particular, though the works of Maimon (particularly the Mishneh Torah) are also considered important, as well as other Rabbinical writings/compilations. --- |

It'll be interesting to see the film from the Allied perspective though. Solid movie but wouldve been better if 'Murica came at the end and f***ed s*** up. America hadn't even entered the war, and were probably still funding both sides indirectly at that point. Even then, it was the German invasion of the USSR that led to a massive reallocation of German troops (around 80%) to the eastern front, making the Allied campaign in the west starting in 1944 a comparatively trivial theater. --- |

All they do is make it seem as if most feminists have crazy opinions in order to shut down legitimate concerns about women's rights. Masculinism actually started as the male analog to Feminism by male second-wave feminists in the 1970s with full support by the second wave feminist movement. The fringe and many if not most third-wave feminists that have emerged since then, unfortunately, refuse to acknowledge male issues and consider masculinism sexism. At best, they'll condescendingly consider "approved" male issues a part of "feminism." All of which is quite frankly disgusting, given the consequences of this attitude in the legal and social realms. --- |

Suffrage and women in the workplace were inevitabilities in civil society that didn't necessarily require liberation movements to "make it happen." Suffrage was pretty widespread in most states, the south and a few backwater northern states aside. Meanwhile, traditional norms that barred women from pursuing professional or higher academic aspirations were steamrolled into obsolescence by the natural transformation of society that occurred as the boomers came of age in the wake of the pill's invention, and in a society characterized by mass communication of progressive ideas (via television) on an unprecedented scale. As women entered the workforce, they established a significant economic stake in society, which tends to command its own collective bargaining power sociopolitically speaking. --- |

Furthermore, a lighter choice of color with respect to the wall paint might enhance the contrast with the wrought iron windows. Brown and a medium shade of pink don't mesh particularly well. Her choice of dress color is the icing on the cake with respect to the dreadful dissonance that characterizes the photoshoot's color scheme. I hope the person who arranged the work gets severely reprimanded by his management. --- |
