Hes definitely one who will try again. As much as I despise him, hes at least smarter than Trump. He lies through his teeth, is overly bitter, but the Republican Party could rally behind him. Especially if Trump endorses him.

I've always thought that despite what everyone says about him, Trump at least has good intentions. Like, I think he really does believe his policies will/are helping the country. He's just way too narcissistic and not smart enough to be a good president.

But Ted Cruz cares about nothing besides stuffing his own pockets. Fuck that guy.

It's true that it's unlikely Bernie will be able to get all the stuff he wants passed through congress, but he might be able to get parts of what he wants passed. Besides, you can't just say "this stuff isn't possible" and vote for a conservative or moderate. You have to start somewhere

I've volunteered at local charities and I keep hearing complaints that Christians prioritize conversion first over help second.

the churches i've been in contact with are local churches that spend thousands of dollars on poor people when big unexpected expenses pop up. severe illnesses that insurance companies won't cover. water heaters that go bust. etc. if you tax these churches you're cutting into how much money churches can give those people.

He might not be super progressive but I have both democrat (moderate, so don't like bernie and warren) and republican family members and they both seem to like him. There's no path for Warren in trying to take out Sanders. He's been building grassroots momentum for years and the reasons for his base's trust in him span decades. it's not happening, especially after her recent missteps. But if she drops out and endorses him, she can perhaps restore enough goodwill to vy for a cabinet position under his administration.

she's had her chances to do that but she's only cordial with bernie to the point where it favors her and it comes across as disingenuous politicking. she could've endorsed bernie in 2016 but stayed quiet and then endorsed hillary after he lost. she could've remained with cordial with bernie in this election cycle but when he started pulling ahead of her she started making attacks towards him.
