Koudelka and the shadow hearts were like this, although leaned more into the humor as the series went along. Parasite eve as well, and sweet home on the nes. I'd love more games like this though.

At least for chess, there is no men's league, its open to all. There is only women's only leagues to try to attract more women to the game.

Do you mean the dlc for apocalypse or apocalypse itself? Because Apocalypse is it's own separate game with a different story and such. I never played the dlc for it specifically, but it's worth playing.

Infinite ammo in any resident evil title. I love just blasting everything with the shotgun with unlimited ammo in original resident evil 2, even more so then the uber weapons like the rocket launchers and such. Wish the remake let you unlock a unlimited shotty.
