I get that the justices are just trying to shoehorn things in as long as they can somehow mangle the law to make sense for their means, but does anyone actually buy that line of reasoning as legitimate? Does anyone really think the founding fathers were omniscient and crafted a perfect document accounting for all possible contingencies and thus should never evolve?
