I dont think I understand the weapon assembly thing. Im going for a strength build so dont I just equip a heavy weapon to a fast hitting strength handle? Your damage comes from the weapon head. And the scaling and attack pattern comes from the handle. But you want to pay attention to what damage type the head / handle does. If you put a slashing weapon on a spear handle for example, its not gonna poke as well and you're going to be limiting your damage. I'm still not completely sure how it all works. I just experiment with different things and go beat up the dummies at the hotel to find what works.
