Ok so finally beat Hades. Took me 25 tries. Half as many as UnderMine, but I think it's definitely harder. The only reason I won was because of the weapon being turned into a critical machine gun. And getting 200% base from a distance. It was sickening. Theseus didn't know what to do with himself.

I gave all my nectar to Artemis. Or Artemis' thighs. I gave Dusa a lot too. Everyone only got 1 so far. I was going to choose Meg, but I liked Artemis a bit more. Oh andy favorite weapon is the fists one, but I survive longer with the bow. Makes sense I guess. Don't bring fists to a gun fight.

I have to thank you for recommending Hades. It's a very well made game. I wish these types of games were made in the NES era. It would've made replayability so much higher.

Link, do you have any advice on how I should handle the pilfer rapport buff from the 100k tribute fountain? It's used for that final room, but I hear that if you die and lose it, you can't get the buff ever again. So one attempt per save file unless backed up and scummed. Somehow that sounds false to me. Why would the developer only give you one chance for something like that? That's just going to piss people off. That can't be true. Can it? Either way, I hear I should do other stuff in othermine first before beating the bog.

The internet really is confusing. People give shitty advice and you really have to go to someone who isn't dumb. Reminds me of all the superstition over the secrets in Remnant I'd hear over the mic in multiplayer. Humans love making shit up whenever they can't clearly see something. I'm amazed how we go back to our caveman roots and invent all kinds of juju about how some video game world's secrets work. /rant. Sorry, I needed that.

I did another run and got some weird combos of relics and ended up rich by the end. More than half a million gold. Those rocks to gold bombs are insanity in those brick puzzle rooms. I swear the pilferers just stand there in shock hahaha.

Watching someone play this would kinda spoil it. At least for me. I wanted to watch a no hit run, but didn't want to see the bosses before I got to them myself.

They just released a 1.02 update for Playstation's UnderMine. Single patch note that says, "Fixed an issue that could cause lost progress when loading back to the Hub."

Reminds me of an issue the PlayStation Forager by HopFrog or whatever where you could get far then when you'd exit a building, the damn game would crash and you'd reload as if you just started a new game and the save file was already overwritten. So you had to constantly back up your save for a long time.

I can only imagine how pissed the few people were that lost their progress on this game. I imagine a few of them had some good runs right before. Totally gone.

Hell, that'll make some people quit on the spot. Glad that never happened to me with this game.

Once that canary is level 3, those pilfer slimes get told real quick they're wearing the wrong shoes for this dance club. I still bat them out of the park for a home runs to keep up my practice. A couple of the bomb ones actually opened secret tunnels for me last run.

I finally died on the next healer/knight guarded entrance where a bunch of bugs shooting green poison killed me. I had like 20k 20 relic 10 curses. Found Arkanos' book and got a new pet.

Bought the two health item more effective upgrades new bombs and some other stuff. The only reason I got that far was because I gave some bard all my cash (1007gp at the time) and he offered me 3 circles of relics. I chose the meat cleaver one that randomly drops meat on kill. I knew that would keep me alive.

I probably lost and refilled my health bar 10 times that run.

Yeah, I got over myself and learned the game. Reminds me of Crypt of the Necromancer, only easier. If I had to change anything, I'd add the ability to make a mining team you could do extra things with as well as a canary room.

I'd love if they would add some secondary fun rpg maintenance elements into the game like mobile games have. I like harvesting, crafting, feeding pets, gearing things. They could add all that kinda stuff to this game and sell you cosmetics and monetize the game.

No real complaints though. I can just tell I'll probably get bored of it quicker than I'd like to. Trying to make it to Tales of Arise before I buy anything else.

Which was pretty accurate back in the medieval age. They would get you to wear pocket less trousers and if you had silver dust in your pants in anyway, you could be punished. Working in previous metal and gem mining has a pretty horrible history. In some respects it's still practiced that way today. Any gold processing plant is sealed and strictly enforced when it comes to what you can bring in and take out of there. They won't even let you have a speck of dust. Greedy bastards.

I cannot tell you how important it is to be able to pick how your character looks, their gender, and their name. My God. I had the perfect cute girl brunette in red with a cool name and she died. Then I learn it randomizes it every time.

Just my luck. Now I can't even remember the name or the seed and the share video doesn't have the info anymore on PS4. Grrr!

Just let us pick our own look. This was so infuriating on early MMOs like EverQuest when you wanted to be a halfling, but only had a few choice of classes per race.

In other words, ironically the actual subject matter being discussed becomes nothing more than a vehicle for Balkanization of the community here discussing it. So her feud has become ours and the liquid hate trickles down to all that speak of it.

I guess this is the one time where the "Who cares?" reply becomes a valuable utility of positive social change.

So there's no real point in having a strong opinion when any defense of that opinion works. We're getting closer to The Idiocracy every day. And the people who realize it are the base cogs. The sad part is, I think they know it and could care less.

When people can admit to who they really are and how they really feel, then they can have clothing optional in public. If they refuse and pretend to be moralists then no.

Look, but dont touch.
Touch, but dont taste.
Taste, but dont swallow.

Either live honest and be free or hide behind the gate and fences that you made as the ruling class in another life.

Currently the free-spirited people of yesterday are now moralists and the moralists of yesterday are still moralists. We're in a purity spiral that no one knows where will stop. I fully expect a world where clothing is optional in the future, but anything resembling an attractive man or a woman will be considered offensive and enabling and thus stigmatized and socially unacceptable.

And so by the time clothing is optional, no one will want to see you naked anyway.

Yeah, the spiders really ruin some bridge walks in season. Happened to me in Buffalo back in 2011. I was tempted to bring a broom and brush them all off, but the damn things we're along the entire walkway. I got chills just being near them and kept feeling as if things were crawling on me when they obviously weren't. And I like spiders too. My biology obviously doesn't care.

I mean there had to have been 100,000 of them.

It would be cool if we could all make a guild on some smartphone game and team up kicking ass with collective steps.

Well, as for distance, it does measure it via gps mapping. The distance I walked was definitely over 6.5 miles because it's normally 5 and I did a our 1.5 extra today by taking an extended route to see where a new bulldozed path led.

The odd thing is the time. It says 136 minutes. Felt more like 3 hours, but I don't see it screwing up on time. The sad thing is, 20 years ago, I could do almost double that distance in nearly half the time jogging. I was 50lbs lighter too. Sometimes I don't even know how I was that person anymore.

Personally, I can't wait for the dystopian future where insurance companies force us to share our fitness data and ping us for being fatties. Can you imagine in like 2050, your government issue citizen health band waking you up at 5am and telling you to get out of bed and go walk because you're not as physically fit as the rest of the ants at the factory? Gotta be fit so you can work hard and produce more widgets for the regime's war machine.

I must look like such a loser playing geoloc games when only kids are doing them. I'm the only male my age I've ever seen playing them. Pineapple pizza by itself is good. I even had one my bro made with big ass heavy canned circle pineapple pieces all over the top.

Always blew my mind people getting freaked out over it. Simple taste buds can't handle savory and sweet. Meanwhile it's completely normal, totally done throughout the world. People grilling up tarantulas. And we're picky about pineapples.

Reminds me of this grown ass man I worked a seasonal at in Walmart where he just couldn't handle the thought of a peanut butter and sour mayonnaise sandwich.

Like... dude... calm your big ass down. If it was a hot girl telling you about it, you would've waxed cosmopolitan and been like "Hmm!" People don't usually just make stuff up. Chances are if it's different, you just haven't had it yet. Wake up and stop being so close-minded. Beavers literally gnaw on big trees every day and love every piece of sawdust.

"Oooh no! Pineapple!" ...
