Everyone keeps saying I need to be supportive, and I will. But it's really upsetting that she kept it from me for this long. I feel like I don't know her right now. Not sure how to deal with it...

Never forget that cheating doesn't exist in a vacuum. Yes, she wronged you. But why? Have you been treating her like you love her more than anything in the world? Do you make her feel valued? Do you make her feel like you need her as much as she needs you?

I try, but even so, that's no excuse.

See coffeebeanz comment, also it really depends on what she did. If she flirted with another dude, you have marriage problems that can be potentially fixed. If you banged another dude or even made out with another dude, then those are major problems that probably wont be fixed, in my opinion.

So your reaction is based on that. But again, you HAVE to be calm no matter what and think rationally, as hard as it is.

I don't bang dudes :-)

Never take action until you can think rationally. Unwillingness to forgive will kill a marriage, too.

I was irate when I found out and told her to get the f out when she started yelling at me. I will forgive if she admits she was wrong and apologizes. But I'm not going back on what I said. If I do, she will never take me seriously and I've been the doormat for my last two girlfriends and I'm tired of it.

Long story short, we went on vacation and while we were there, she did something she should not have and I caught her. We got into a heated argument and she left 2 days early... didn't see her for a day after I got back either, so that was 3 days I didn't see her. Now she is back and hasn't said a word to me in 3 days since then. Funny thing is, that was supposed to be a trip to celebrate my birthday.

Anyone ever have this happen to them? I'm not apologizing for what I said. She is wrong this time. Don't want to go into too much detail because I'm still pretty upset. I'd rather just go on my own for a while, even if it means living in my car or a tent. I'm just not in a good financial spot right now.

yet if someone complains because they are depressed or lonely, they are usually told to 'stop whining?' Shouldn't both be considered serious issues? Don't people kill themselves over depression? As someone who grew up as a loner, I find this insulting... saying that other people's problems are worse than mine, when they aren't dying.

It is so weird to go back that far.

I remember the last time that I suddenly remembered someone from a while back was when I was in college and I was thinking about this girl from sixth grade.

its complicated, never had friends after 3rd grade. but the last time I knew her was 2nd. saw her occasionally in the halls after that. she told me the other day that she had had some severe problems with depression. I just wondered whatever happened to her and I just told her how I had always felt. She was really nice about it too.

On a more positive note, I did reconnect with one of my old buddies from 1st. He remembered me and was pretty cool too. It was good to see them again. Life was never the same after I left that city.

Long story short, went to 2nd grade with her, first girl I ever liked, and we were really close back then.

Our old school was recently torn down, and I finally talked to her again for the first time in almost 25 years.

Well, we have talked several times for hours and she even said I'm a "cutie" and that I'm "sweet" but that she doesn't remember me. Even though I didn't expect her to, that hurt a lot more than thought it would. I've struggled with this almost my whole life. We are both married too, so I don't want a relationship. Also, I normally don't get all worked up over girls, but this one was really unique. Guess I just hoped she would remember, but I know life is no fairy tale.

Very complicated, but long story short, I met up with this childhood friend of mine on facebook a few days ago and we really hit it off. We have talked for hours, several different times now, and today she was calling me "cutie" and "sweetie." She even said she wanted someone to travel with and said that she wants to divorce her husband once kids are done with school.... and I really like her.

I don't know. I don't know how she feels about me, how my wife would fee, how he would feel

I sense a love triangle.
You should probably convince your wife that the other chick is just a friend, and reaffirm the other chick that you're just mutual friends...
Cause if you don't, your friendship with her will become a misunderstanding m, and your relationship with your wife will greatly sour.

should I talk to the other chick some more? she said she didn't remember me, but she seemed to like me and respect me when we talked. I had feelings for her for a long time, but I don't know how we could ever have a relationship now.

Well if she doesn't remember you, then you got nothing to worry about.
Just tell your wife that the other chick was an old friend that you had an interest in long ago.
I'm sure she'll understand

eh I probably wont, she will get jealous. idk if I'm ready to be just friends with this girl. idk. maybe I will just leave it alone. she has kids now too so it might not even be worth it.
