Bennington's parents divorced when he was 11 years old, and his father gained custody of him.[4] After the divorce, Bennington started abusing marijuana, alcohol, opium, cocaine, methamphetamine,[5][7] and LSD.[4] He eventually overcame his drug addiction, and would go on to denounce drug use in future interviews.[8] During one Linkin Park tour, he started drinking heavily.[3] In 2011, he claimed to have quit, noting, "I just don't want to be that person anymore."[9]
In an interview, Bennington revealed that he had suffered sexual abuse from an older male friend when he was seven years old.[9] He was afraid to ask for help because he did not want people to think he was gay or lying, and the abuse continued until the age of 13.[4] The abuse and situation at home affected him so much that he felt the urge to kill people and run away.[4] To comfort himself, he drew pictures and wrote poetry and songs.[4] He later revealed the abuser's identity to his father, but chose not to continue the case after he realized the abuser was a victim himself.[7]
At the age of 17, Bennington moved in with his mother, and was banned from leaving the house when his mother discovered his drug activity.[4] He worked at a Burger King before starting his career as a professional musician.[5] He was physically bullied in high school. In an interview, he said, "I was knocked around like a rag doll at school, for being skinny and looking different."[10][11][12]

It did at my second job. I own 6 or 7 projects at a time while other engineers own one. And it's not that my projects we're smaller easier ones. I passed on a couple of them before, and they always put 2 or 3 engineers on it after me.

I've started training at Alliance almost a year ago. Honestly, it feels like people at my old school are better purple and below, and the instruction seems better. However, we had no where near as many high belts at Alliance. There are usually more brown belts than blue belts, and white belts are separated outright.

Chinese.

I make enough to easily live in my own, and have enough in reserve to live with no income for several years. And this reserve will continue to grow.

Meanwhile people live paycheck to paycheck, accrue a whole bunch of debt, because they think that makes them a big boy.

I lived on my own for 4 years, paying for everything ofc, and it's not remotely difficult to do. Paying bills and doing house chores don't mean anything.

like i remember being on gamefaqs in 2001 were really upset about Metal Gear Solid 2 because they thought Raiden looked "too gay."

I know the game got a lot of hate. Some of the Batmobile parts were dreadful, but it did a lot right. The game plays better than prior installments and there were some really great moments in the game.
