She's not in a relationship.

This girl started working at my job about a year ago. I'm a supervisor. We went out. She said she liked me. I said me too, then backed out cuz I didn't feel comfortable with me being he supervisor at the same time.
Throughout the year she would ask me again and I would end up saying no when I knew I wanted to say yes. The last time she asked me was a few weeks ago. We're good friends btw.

Recently she's started to have a thing with this guy. I wasn't phased at first but got a little jealous. She's leaving for another job place.

So 2 days ago I told her that I do like her and do want to go out with her. She was visibility irritated and was like I knew you like me.

Then the next morning on the phone, we talked more. She said it probably wouldn't work out. She tried to put it on herself by saying she's bitchy and that it wouldn't be compatible. That also I'm too reserved and not outgoing and wouldn't want me to change just for her. So we kinda just ended it at that.

I think it was just bad timing on my part because of the other guy.

So what I'm going to say tomorrow:

Hey...I wanna continue the our talk. To say that it wouldn't work out is crazy. It can go either or like any relationship. I believe it can work out. I have real feelings for you and I don't want you to be my what if. Don't discount it by saying you're bitchy. I already know who you are and that's why I like you. I'm just looking for a chance at something real and are hoping you'd give it to me. You say that I'm not outgoing but I'm gonna have to change either way as I can't stay like this forever.

Talked to her. I was on the other side of the table and I was the one asking her if she wanted to date. It ended up being a no cuz she doesn't think it would work out based on both of our personalities.

The sex thing... apparently it was just teasing and joking around, so no for that too.

So I guess I can move on now lol.

They not dating. Now a few days back, I started to feel something. Like I could have done this with her. She's not exclusive to the guy btw. She's leaving our job tomorrow.

I wanna know if I should ask if when she was talking sexual stuff with me if she was being serious and trying to hint at friends with benefits. What y'all think?
