I don't know that much about it either. But I know that the "simulator" could be anything from someone running it for fun, for education, maybe to learn more about their own universe, etc or even a computer running automated tests. There's also the theory that to them, our universe is existing at an accelerated rate. In other words, our multi-billion year existence might just be a few weeks to them or even just a few seconds. It's not really a religion, because there's a good chance that whoever is running the simulation doesn't really care about us.

even if you believe that in a way it is similar to religion isn't it? Read again what you posted. Many people, also religious claim a higher power doesn't really care or meddles with humans

I think the overarching point is that the probability of us not being a simulation is pretty low. It becomes much more viable once we find a way to simulate universes ourselves. What's the chance that we're the first universe in what will be a long chain of simulated universes?

Right, the most developed countries with the highest quality of living must all be due to cultural problems, herbivore men and video games huh? So the countries you believe we should be aiming to emulate must be countries like Somalia and Afghanistan. Educate yourself a little man. If I need to educate myself, then you need to go back to preschool. If you don't think that Japan has a cultural problem, then you don't understand anything about Japan. You refused to address the sexism toward pregnant women and refuse to address the fact that 70% of the men in their 30's in Japan considers themselves Herbivores. As I already mentioned, there are other factors like cost of living and long work hours.

There are no absolutes in the world. Not every country faces the same issues and to say that Japan has the exact same issues as Europe is ludicrous. Europe has their own reasons, with some shared reasons like cost of living and cost of raising a child. Europe like the US is experiencing a cultural shift where people don't want children unless they've established their careers, along with more leisure time for themselves.

The difference between Japan and Europe is that despite the low birth rate, people are still HAVING SEX in Europe. Meanwhile in Japan, a much lower percentage of men are having sex and many men are incapable of having relationships with women.

Once they finish their anime, they retreat into their video games where they kill monsters to get parts to make other parts, so they can make other parts for other parts so they can make that weapon to slaughter more innocent beasts to get more parts for other parts. These men are obviously losers and unsuitable mates for women. Pillow acceptance proves that acceptance of any unhealthy behaviors can lead to societal regression.
