I got help from the people here and just got my parts. Assembly is so easy. It looks intermediating but it's really not. I would rather get the Readon 5700 XT graphics card or the 2060s over the 1660 Ti that I posted here, but since you just want to upgrade later then it's the cheapest option.

Honestly you could even do without the video card if you just want to browse. I would just get the Ryzen 7 or 9 if I went that route.

Tbh TC, you can't really be mad. You will always be 2nd fiddle. If you don't want to be 2nd in a girl's life (aside from her friends and family of course) than it's time to date somebody that doesn't have kids and even then once you have kids with that girl you will become 2nd to your own kids.

It's silly and all its doing is placing a band-aid on an open wound. All it will do is propel us into automation and take away even more jobs for people in need. The issue is spoon feeding people the idea of college when trades should be just as spoon feed.

If anything minimum wage needs to be abolished and trade schools need to be actively promoted.

I buy off of Coinbase. I don't really trade coins anymore like I used to, but Binance was the go to, but all of these central exchanges are getting pretty sketch. If I want a coin I'll check switcheo or Nash if they don't have it on there then oh well from me.

Those exchanges don't have high liquidity though so I can't get in and out of projects as I like, but there's not that many other project worth investing in that aren't on either Coinbase or switcheo.

Crypto.com is another option I've been looking into, but I feel weird about and pretty selective about know your customer (KYC), but they offer dividends on crypto and have an actual debit card you can use for real purchases and take out money. I use Nexo to store my USDC and they offer 8% annual yeild. I have like $6000 on it and get $1.21 in dividends a day. I like loaning out my money to myself for a tight squeeze or just for leveraging on Nexo, but crypto.com I want for the actual use case of having a debit card, so I've been looking more into it lately.

All I did was take off the cooler, went down to a rtx2060 super, and added a monitor along with some of the necessities. I did some research and I don't think the rtx2070 was worth that much more than the rtx2060s. Cutting those 2 really put the computer more in the price range I would like for the complete setup. I don't have an ethernet cable so I am stuck with Wifi and added an adapter. The keyboard and mouse I am not necessarily in love with and could really just skimp out on those.

This seems like more or less aligned with what some of the people are saying. I'd swap out some stuff here and there based on the comments in here, but overall seems solid.

Edit- oh shit my bad. I thought this was the other link that was posted. I like this build.

After 6 years of being on the fence I'm going to commit to building a PC.

I'm mainly going to use the computer for gaming and for programs like AutoCAD/Matlab etc. I've had my old laptop for like 10 years and figured it's time for an upgrade.

$1500 is a little steep since I don't have a mouse, keyboard, desk, or screen. So I'm open to revisions if I'm doing extra. I'm unsure of the specifics of what is necessary or if I'm going completely overboard. I would like a 2nd opinion before I commit.
