TopicMan received 217 Covid shots without side effects

A German man who voluntarily received 217 coronavirus jabs over 29 months showed no signs of having been infected with the virus that causes Covid-19 and had not suffered from any vaccine-related side effects, according to a study published in the medical journal Lancet Infectious Diseases.
The 62-year-old, from Magdeburg, Germany, whom doctors described as hypervaccinated, said he had had the large number of vaccines for private reasons, according to the researchers from University of Erlangen-Nuremberg who examined him.
According to the news magazine Spiegel, the mans vaccine spree had sparked a criminal investigation against him for suspected fraud, after suspicions he had run a scam to sell the vaccine certificates to people who did not want to get the jab.
The initial reports relating to the study, which gave scant information, had sparked widespread speculation, with suggestions that the man was suffering from paranoid hypochondria, that he possibly had a needle fixation, or he was a doctor who might have been administering vaccines to patients himself. There were also questions as to whether he had financed the jabs out of his own pocket, or received medical authorisation to receive them.
Later reports confirmed the criminal investigation against the man, who was accused of getting so many doses in order to be able to collect the stamped and signed vaccination cards, which could then be forged and sold on to people who did not want to be vaccinated and so faced extensive restrictions at the height of the pandemic.
A public prosecutor in Magdeburg had opened an investigation into the fraud allegations but no criminal charges were actually filed, authorities confirmed to the researchers.
The academics contacted the man after reading about him in a newspaper report. He accepted their request to study his bodys response to the multiple jabs.
We then contacted him and invited him to undergo various tests in Erlangen, Dr Kilian Schober said. He was very interested in doing so.
They vaccinated him for the 217th time for the purpose of the study, the researchers said.
The research team said it had seen official confirmation for 134 of the vaccinations, which included eight different vaccines, including various mRNA vaccines. They looked at previous blood tests the man had given over multiple years and also examined blood samples as he went on to receive further vaccines.
Confirmation of 130 of the vaccines, within a nine-month timeframe, came from the public prosecutors investigation against the man, Spiegel reported.
The observation that no noticeable side effects were triggered in spite of this extraordinary hypervaccination indicates that the drugs have a good degree of tolerability, Schober said.
The researchers found that his immune system was fully functional.
Certain immune cells and antibodies against the virus that causes Covid-19 (Sars-CoV-2) were present in considerably higher levels compared with people who had received just three vaccines, the team reported.
Overall, we did not find any indication for a weaker immune response, rather the contrary, said one of the leading study authors, Katharina Kocher.
Further tests showed the reaction of the mans immune system to other viruses remained unchanged proof, the researchers said, that his immune system had not been damaged by having to respond to so many vaccinations.
The researchers said that even though further details about the man or his motives would not be made public, he had effectively served the common good by demonstrating how well tolerated the vaccines generally are. However, they warned the public against following the mans example, saying that excessive vaccinations were not in general advisable and could cause unpleasant and unnecessary side effects. The fact that the man who never contracted the coronavirus tolerated so many jabs so well did not mean that would translate into the rest of the population.
Prof Dr Andreas Radbruch, an immunologist and president of the European Federation of the Immunological Associations of Experts (EFIS), who was not involved in the study, said that hypervaccination would not increase a persons protection beyond the point at which their immunological memory was satiated.

A convicted sex offender was fatally stabbed Sunday (March 3) afternoon at a Lacombe-area laundromat after he tried to assault a female at the establishment.
At approximately 3:30 p.m. Sunday, St. Tammany Parish Sheriffs deputies were dispatched to the business in the 28000 block of U.S. Highway 190 in reference to an unresponsive man with an apparent stab wound.
The man, 40-year-old Nicholas Tranchant, was transported to a local hospital, where he later died.
While enroute to the call at the laundromat, STPSO deputies were dispatched to a call in reference to a female claiming she had stabbed a man who had attacked her while she was at the laundromat.
An investigation into to the incident revealed that Tranchant, a convicted sex offender, had entered the laundromat armed with a sharp weapon and was attempting to sexually assault the female when she fought back. The female was able to gain possession of the weapon, and used it to stab him before fleeing to safety.
She also sustained injuries during the altercation and was transported to an area hospital, where she is being treated.
Tranchant was convicted in July 2003 for Indecent Behavior with Juveniles. He was convicted again in May 2008 for Attempted Aggravated Rape and Aggravated Burglary. He was released from jail on those charges on December 21, 2023, and required to register as a sex offender.
I want to compliment this brave woman on the courage and strength she showed in fighting back against her attacker and ask for prayers for her continued recovery, Sheriff Randy Smith said.

A woman was charged over $1,000 for a Subway sandwich, leaving her strapped for cash and struggling to feed her family, according to reports.
Letitia Bishop went to the Subway Thornton Oil store in Columbus, Ohio, on January 5 to order subs for her family, only to find herself with a bewilderingly high charge. A receipt obtained by WSYC ABC 6's "On Your Side" shows that Bishop's debit card was charged $1,021.50.
For context, this far exceeds the typical costs of a footlong sandwich at Subway, which tends to cost between $6.50 and $12.
Bishop told ABC 6 that the charge left her feeling "stressed, overwhelmed," and, at one point, she couldn't even afford groceries because her "account was negative."
Despite her efforts to address the situation directly with store staff, Bishop was told to contact Subway's corporate office. She told ABC 6 she tried this multiple times but to no avail.
Bishop also told the Ohio broadcaster that she later returned to the Subway store, located inside a gas station, only to find it had closed.
According to the store's website, it is "temporarily closed" for the foreseeable future.
"I'm just trying to make ends meet at this point in time," Bishop told ABC 6.
Even flagging the issue with her bank was fruitless, leaving Bishop feeling hopeless, ABC 6 reported.
As of last Friday, almost two months after the purchase, she still hadn't been refunded for the sandwich.
Subway and Bishop did not immediately respond to BI's requests for comment.
Lee Anne Lanigan, the director of consumer relations and investigations from the Better Business Bureau, told ABC 6 that Bishop has options to resolve the situation.
She could use the BBB's dispute resolution process or even escalate the matter by filing a police report for theft.
Lanigan said that had Bishop used a credit card instead of a debit card at the counter, she would have been better protected.

Definitely. Look how many people are here at Union Station. You don't even have to aim, you'd hit someone or multiple people with every shot. And if there were 2 or even 3 shooters, 20+ people could get shot in a few seconds.

Zach Swallen said his 15-year-old son, Boom, provided a tip that helped thwart a potential mass shooting at Mariemont High School.
Police arrested a 14-year-old child on Wednesday for a "potential threat" at Mariemont High School that the district said was a "credible plot to harm students and staff."
In an interview with WCPO 9 Thursday morning, Swallen said he couldn't be more proud of his son. Swallen said Boom made a phone call to him Tuesday night after the 14-year-old told Boom about his alleged plan, which included a kill list.
"This swift action was definitely warranted and I'm grateful that my son reached out because if he hadn't..." Swallen said before pausing.
"The kid had the firearms and had a very elaborate plan and had every intention of carrying out that plan," said Swallen, fighting back tears. "My son, he doesn't lie. He's very literal, I could tell by his tone. And it was told to my son that if he disclosed anything about the plan to anybody, he would be shot and killed. But my son literally told me he didn't care if he got killed as long as he could protect his classmates."
Hamilton County Prosecutor Melissa Powers said during a press conference the student plotted in January with an out-of-state adult, created a list of students and teachers they wanted to kill and planned to access a gun located in the student's home.
Powers said she plans to request the student is bound over and charged as an adult.
Swallen did say he hopes the child who made the threat is able to get help from the right people and, hopefully, rebound from all of this one day.
"We don't know what he's going through and I feel sorry for him," said Swallen. "I want him to know that my son forgives him and I forgive him and I hope he gets help and we're all able to, you know, come together."
He said one message he hopes is taken away from everything is that others will reach out and help if they see another student hurting.
"It takes a real warrior and real strength to do the right things," said Swallen.
During Powers' press conference, Mariemont City Schools' Superintendent, Steven Estepp, acknowledged Swallen and his son, and the impact they've had on the district as a result of coming forward.
"I'm just incredibly thankful that we are able to say today that this plot was thwarted and that a very serious tragedy was avoided because of the proactive measures that this student and this student's parents took to report their concern to our local police department," said Estepp. "And I can't say thank you enough to our local police department, to the response of the FBI, the response of the prosecutor's office to act so swiftly so that we are where we are today and not dealing with a very tragic situation."
The Uvalde Foundation For Kids, a nonprofit dedicated to ending violence in America's schools, announced on Thursday that Boom will receive its National Student Hero Award for his efforts.
"This student who helped extinguish a possible threat to fellow students, represents the reality of how the climate of violence plaguing our nations schools and threatening student lives can come to an end not through gun control or more safety planning meetings; but rather through alert, caring students such as this young man who refuse to stand by when a potential threat stands against their friends," said Daniel Chapin, founder of the Uvalde Foundation For Kids.
The 14-year-old who was arrested has been charged with conspiracy to commit aggravated murder and is currently being held in a juvenile detention facility.

A teenager in California has been charged with multiple felonies for allegedly orchestrating a swatting call that led law enforcement officers to a mosque in Florida.
Alan Winston Filion, 17, of Lancaster, California, was extradited to Seminole County, Florida, on Tuesday following his arrest on Jan. 18, 2024, with assistance from the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department.
Investigators said Filion deceived deputies from the Seminole County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) into dispatching numerous deputies to the Masjid Al Hayy Mosque in Sanford, Florida, on May 12, 2023, claiming there was a mass shooting. A phone call threatening the shooting was accompanied by references to Satanism, the possession of weapons, and simulated gunfire, authorities said.
The SCSO Domestic Security Division, in collaboration with the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, identified Filion as the suspect. Following a search warrant served by the FBI on July 15, 2023, Filion was arrested based on incriminating evidence gathered from seized devices.
Filion was apprehended and charged as an adult with multiple felony counts related to false reports, unlawful use of communication devices, and swatting. He was booked into the Los Angeles Los Padrinos Juvenile Hall and transported to Florida, where he is held without bond at the John E. Polk Correctional Facility.
The investigation, conducted with support from the Seattle, Los Angeles, and Tampa FBI field offices, as well as various law enforcement partners, suggests Filion may be linked to other swatting incidents nationwide, investigators said.
In a statement sent to FOX 35 News, Seminole County Sheriff Dennis Lemma emphasized the gravity of swatting.
"Swatting is a perilous and senseless crime, which puts innocent lives in dangerous situations and drains valuable resources," he said. "The substantial law enforcement response in this swatting case underscores our unwavering dedication to community safety and holding offenders accountable, regardless of where they are located."
Sheriff Lemma expressed gratitude to collaborating agencies and issued a stern warning that swatting will face zero tolerance.
The Office of the State Attorney, 18th Judicial Circuit, will prosecute the case.
