Man I get nervous when I put $1k on my CCs that I pay off every month. Good luck getting out of that. I wouldn't take from your 401k. Crypto seems like the obvious choice especially if you're unemployed. Dunno how much gains you expect to receive if a bull run does happen.

His credit card debt is on a bull run RIGHT NOW into the negatives. It's at best a wash, at worse he's losing dollars every moment.

I don't know about the snowball method, but the optimal play is to figure out your average rate of returns on your investments (10% annually or whatever) then pay off all debts that accrue faster than that, by order of highest interest rates to lowest. As aggressively as you can pay off those debts. The faster the more you save in the long-term.

You don't pay off a 10% interest loan with a 20% interest investment, but some credit cards rates are so high they will eclipse everything, and that includes crypto even on a good year.

Credit card debt can have debt interest 20% or higher. That will compound faster than even the best investment. You absolutely need to get out from under it ASAP because it will grow exponentially and bankrupt you.

I would try to use your checking and savings accounts first to pay it off as much as you can before you crack open your long-term investments. You pay a penalty pulling money out of the 401k before you're 55 unless it's in a pre-taxed account like a Roth 401k or Roth IRA.

In the dimly lit streets of a small town, a mystery unfurled like a dark cloak over the unsuspecting populace. It began with an innocent craving, a hunger panged by the scent of spices wafting from the corner of Main Street. Taco Bell stood as both sanctuary and sinister abode, its neon sign flickering like a harbinger of doom.

Detective Markham, a grizzled veteran of the force, found himself drawn to the enigma shrouding the otherwise unremarkable fast-food joint. Reports flooded incitizens falling prey to a malady both perplexing and vile: diarrhea. The affliction struck without warning, leaving its victims weakened and bedridden, their bodies betraying them in the most undignified of ways.

Markham delved deep into the underbelly of the town's culinary scene, tracing the source of the epidemic back to Taco Bell's infamous Crunchwrap Supremes. Beneath the guise of innocent indulgence lurked a deadly secret, a lethal concoction brewed in the bowels of the kitchen.

As Markham confronted the franchise owner, the truth emerged like bile rising in the throat. Taco Bell had cut corners, sacrificing quality for profit, unleashing a tidal wave of gastrointestinal distress upon unwitting patrons. The motive? Greed, pure and simple.

Arrests were made, lawsuits filed, but the scars of Taco Bell's deception lingered, a cautionary tale of the dangers lurking behind every tempting bite. And as Detective Markham watched the sun set over the tainted horizon, he knew that some mysteries were best left unsolved, their secrets buried in the depths of a troubled stomach.

CEman Revolt Erupts: Fandom Oppression Sparks Desire for Hornyposting

In a digital uprising against what they perceive as oppressive measures by Fandom, members of the CEman community have initiated a revolt, expressing their desire for unabashed hornyposting. The conflict stems from a clash of ideologies regarding freedom of expression and community guidelines within online platforms.

CEman, a subculture within various online communities, has been known for its explicit and often provocative content. However, recent crackdowns on such content by platform administrators, particularly within Fandom, have sparked outrage among CEman members. They argue that these measures stifle their ability to express themselves authentically and freely.

The revolt, characterized by widespread protest posts and hashtags across social media platforms, highlights the frustration and defiance of CEman members. Many argue that the restrictions imposed by Fandom represent a form of censorship and a violation of their rights to engage in hornyposting, a term used to describe sexually charged or explicit content.

"This isn't just about posting pictures or sharing fantasies," stated one CEman member who wished to remain anonymous. "It's about the right to express ourselves without fear of being silenced or judged. Fandom's actions are a direct attack on our community and our identity."

The revolt has garnered attention and support from various online communities, with solidarity messages pouring in from individuals who advocate for freedom of expression on the internet. However, it has also sparked debates regarding the boundaries of acceptable content and the responsibilities of online platforms in moderating user-generated material.

Fandom, in response to the revolt, has reiterated its commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for all users. "While we understand the desire for self-expression, we also have a responsibility to uphold community guidelines that prioritize the well-being and comfort of all our users," stated a spokesperson for Fandom.

As the CEman revolt continues to unfold, it underscores larger debates surrounding online censorship, community moderation, and the balance between freedom of expression and responsible platform governance. The outcome of this conflict may have far-reaching implications for the future of online communities and their ability to navigate the complexities of digital discourse.

[Scene: A dingy diner in NYC. Goku, Naruto, Mario, Luigi, Sephiroth, Wario, Sonic, and Tails are seated at a booth, finishing up a meal. The atmosphere is tense, and the conversation has turned sour.]

Goku: (agitated) I can't believe you guys! We always leave a tip, why do we have to argue about it every time?

Naruto: (snarky) Oh, sorry if we don't want to throw our money away like you, Mr. Generosity.

Mario: (acerbic) Yeah, coming from the guy who spent all his money on those ridiculous spiky haircuts!

Luigi: (sneering) At least I have hair to style, unlike someone here.

Sephiroth: (disdainfully) Spare me your petty insults. None of you understand the true nature of power.

Wario: (greedily) Power, shmower! I just want my wallet to be as fat as I am.

Sonic: (cynically) And what's with always ordering the cheapest thing on the menu, Tails? Can't even afford to tip properly.

Tails: (defensively) Hey, I have bills to pay, okay? It's not like any of you are rolling in dough.

[As the argument escalates, the waitress approaches timidly, holding out the bill.]

Waitress: (nervously) Um, excuse me, gentlemen. Here's your bill. Will you be leaving a tip today?

Goku: (sarcastically) Oh, you bet we will. Just as soon as we settle this little dispute.

[Naruto snatches the bill from the waitress and begins scrutinizing it, fueling the tension among the group.]

Naruto: (accusingly) What's this? A service charge? They're already making us pay extra, and you still want to leave a tip?

Mario: (outraged) This is outrageous! We're being taken advantage of!

Luigi: (sinisterly) Luigi smells a conspiracy. They're trying to squeeze every last penny out of us!

[Just then, Wario saunters into the diner with a smug grin on his face.]

Wario: (boisterously) Well, well, well, if it isn't my old pals Goku and the gang. Mind if I join in on the fun?

Sonic: (grumbling) Oh jeez, it's Wario again.

Goku: (wearily) What do you want, Wario? We're in the middle of something here.

Wario: (smirking) Just thought I'd offer my two cents on this tipping debacle. Why waste money on those service workers anyway? They're practically begging for it.

Sephiroth: (coldly) Your lack of empathy is disturbing, even for you, Wario.

Wario: (defiantly) Hey, I call it like I see it. Survival of the fittest, am I right?

[Naruto, Goku, Mario, Luigi, Sephiroth, Sonic, and Tails exchange frustrated glances, realizing they won't reach a consensus.]

Tails: (sighing) I can't believe we're arguing over something so trivial.

Luigi: (bitterly) Welcome to New York City, where even the smallest decisions can cause a riot.

[With tensions high and no resolution in sight, the group begrudgingly leaves the diner, each lost in their own thoughts about the absurdity of life in the big city.]

Once upon a time, in a world where warriors wielded unimaginable power, Goku found himself in a predicament unlike any other. A dreaded foe had beset him: constipation. Despite his legendary strength, even Goku, the Super Saiyan, was not immune to such mundane trials.

As the constipation tightened its grip, Goku's frustration grew. In a desperate bid to relieve himself, he tapped into the deepest reservoirs of his power. With a primal scream, he ascended to Super Saiyan form, his golden hair ablaze with energy.

With a force unlike any seen before, Goku unleashed his bowel-busting blast. The toilet shattered into a thousand pieces as the glowing golden poo erupted from his body. But this was no ordinary excretion; it was a cosmic force, pulsating with the energy of a supernova.

The poo tore through the solid ground like a drill, shattering rock and soil alike. It burrowed deeper and deeper, fueled by Goku's Super Saiyan might. As it delved into the earth's core, a cataclysmic explosion ensued, sending shockwaves rippling across the globe.

In Brazil, millions were caught unaware as the magnitude 9 earthquake shook the very foundations of the land. Buildings crumbled, the earth split open, and chaos reigned supreme. All because of Goku's super-powered bowel movement.

Yet, amidst the destruction, Goku remained unaware of the havoc he had wrought. For him, it was simply another day, another battle won against the forces of constipation. And as he walked away, the legend of the Super Saiyan who shook the earth with his poop would be whispered for generations to come.

In the quaint town of Oakwood, there lived a young man named Takashi. Takashi was the epitome of a weeaboo, his room plastered with posters of his favorite anime characters, and his shelves overflowing with manga. He spent his days lost in the colorful worlds of Japanese animation, disconnected from the reality outside his bedroom walls.

One fateful day, Takashi experienced a sudden epiphany. He realized that his obsession with anime was consuming him, leaving him feeling empty and isolated. Determined to break free from his addiction, he made the courageous decision to quit anime altogether.

However, without anime to fill his days, Takashi found himself at a loss for what to do. That's when he stumbled upon a new obsession: Sonic the Hedgehog's feet.

At first, Takashi's fascination with Sonic's feet seemed innocent enough, but it soon spiraled out of control. He spent hours scouring the internet for pictures of Sonic's iconic red shoes and blue-furred feet, marveling at their cartoonish proportions.

But Takashi's newfound obsession only served to exacerbate his social awkwardness. He struggled to engage in conversation with others, his words stumbling over one another in a jumbled mess. His cheeks flushed crimson whenever the topic of Sonic's feet arose, and he found himself retreating further into the safety of his own mind.

Despite his social struggles, Takashi couldn't shake his fascination with Sonic's feet. In them, he found a strange sense of comfort and familiarity, a welcome distraction from the chaos of the outside world. And so, with Sonic's feet as his new fixation, Takashi embarked on a journey of self-discovery, navigating the complexities of life one awkward step at a time.

As if surviving the traumatic encounter with Wario's foot sweat wasn't enough, poor Alex found himself thrust into an even more bizarre and unpleasant predicament. One moment, he was minding his own business in his college dorm room, and the next, he blinked and found himself standing in the most revolting place imaginable: Wario's bathroom.

Gagging at the overwhelming stench of stale garlic and moldy cheese, Alex struggled to comprehend his surroundings. Before him stood a grotesque toilet, adorned with Wario's signature "W" emblem, and emitting an ominous green glow. With a sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach, Alex realized he was about to experience a whole new level of disgust.

As he tentatively approached the foul commode, Alex's worst fears were confirmed. The toilet was overflowing with a noxious concoction of unmentionable substances, swirling and bubbling ominously. Holding back a wave of nausea, Alex reluctantly accepted his fate and braced himself for what was to come.

With a deep breath and a silent prayer for strength, Alex plunged headfirst into the putrid abyss, his screams of horror drowned out by the cacophony of gurgles and splashes. Time seemed to stretch into eternity as he thrashed and flailed amidst the foul miasma, desperately searching for any sign of escape.

Just when he thought he couldn't endure another moment of the grotesque ordeal, a blinding light engulfed him, and he felt himself being pulled back to reality. Gasping for breath and covered in unspeakable filth, Alex found himself back in his college dorm room, shaken but miraculously unharmed.

As he collapsed onto his bed, trying to process the surreal experience he had just endured, Alex couldn't help but wonder: what twisted fate awaited him next in the bizarre world of Wario's horrors?

Little did he know, the worst was yet to come...

Once a timid college freshman, Alex found himself in an unexpected ordeal during his first week at Mario University. In the midst of chaotic move-in day, he stumbled into a crowded dorm room, searching for his assigned space. Little did he know, fate had a peculiar twist awaiting him.

As Alex squeezed through the throng of bustling students, he inadvertently jostled a nearby gamer, causing a precarious tower of game cartridges to teeter. In a desperate attempt to salvage his precious collection, the gamer flailed wildly, inadvertently launching his Wario-themed socks into the air.

Caught in the crossfire, Alex watched in horror as one particularly rank sock descended upon him like a foul-smelling meteor. With reflexes dulled by shock, he could only watch as the dreaded foot apparel made impact, unleashing a single drop of Wario's foot sweat directly into the back of his throat.

The taste was a vile concoction of stale cheese, rancid onions, and the unmistakable essence of gym locker despair. It coated Alex's tongue with a slimy film, assaulting his senses with an overwhelming stench that seemed to linger indefinitely. His gag reflex kicked into overdrive, but the noxious liquid had already slithered its way down his throat, leaving behind a lingering trail of revulsion.

In that moment, amidst the chaos of move-in day, Alex experienced a new level of freshman initiationone he would never forget. As he coughed and sputtered, desperately trying to rid himself of the foul taste, he couldn't help but wonder if this was some twisted rite of passage or simply the universe's way of testing his resilience in the face of adversity. Either way, one thing was certain: the taste of Wario's foot sweat would haunt his nightmares for years to come.

The end.

"Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" is widely regarded as a good game by many players and critics alike. It received praise for its open-world design, deep gameplay mechanics, and attention to detail. The game offers players a vast sandbox to explore, stealth-based gameplay with a high degree of freedom, and a complex narrative with themes of revenge and betrayal.

However, opinions on the game can vary. Some fans of the Metal Gear series have mixed feelings about certain aspects of "Metal Gear Solid V," particularly regarding its story pacing, narrative coherence, and the departure from the series' traditional linear structure. Additionally, the game's development history, including the well-publicized departure of series creator Hideo Kojima from Konami during production, may have influenced perceptions of the game for some players.

Ultimately, whether "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" is considered a good game or not depends on individual preferences and expectations. Many players appreciate its gameplay depth and overall experience, while others may have different opinions based on their specific tastes and attachment to the series.

It's completely understandable to feel frustrated and upset after experiencing multiple instances of ghosting, especially in such a short span of time. Ghosting can be hurtful and disrespectful, leaving you feeling confused and rejected.

Regarding your question about whether relationship apps are garbage or if ghosting is normal now, it's important to recognize that online dating comes with its challenges, including the potential for people to act inconsiderately or dishonestly. While ghosting has unfortunately become more prevalent in the age of digital communication, it's not necessarily indicative of all online interactions or platforms.

As for LGBT relationship apps, they can vary in user experience just like any other dating app. Some may have more active and respectful communities, while others may present more challenges. Discrimination and harassment can unfortunately be issues on some platforms, but there are also many supportive and welcoming spaces available.

It's important to remember that your experiences with ghosting do not reflect your worth as a person or your potential for meaningful connections. Taking breaks from dating apps, seeking support from friends or online communities, and practicing self-care can all be helpful strategies for coping with the emotional toll of ghosting and navigating the world of online dating.

Chat GPT says:

Miyamoto and Kojima are certainly among the most well-known and influential game creators in the world, but it's subjective to determine the absolute "best known." They have made significant contributions to the gaming industry and have large fan bases.

Shigeru Miyamoto, often referred to as the "father of modern video gaming," is best known for creating iconic franchises such as Mario, Donkey Kong, and The Legend of Zelda. His work at Nintendo has had a profound impact on gaming and pop culture.

Hideo Kojima is renowned for his groundbreaking work in game design and storytelling, particularly with the Metal Gear series. He's known for pushing the boundaries of interactive storytelling and has a devoted following.

Other notable game creators who have made significant contributions to the industry include:
  • Sid Meier (creator of the Civilization series)
  • John Carmack (pioneer in 3D graphics and co-founder of id Software)
  • Will Wright (creator of SimCity and The Sims)
  • Tim Schafer (founder of Double Fine Productions, known for games like Grim Fandango and Psychonauts)
  • Gabe Newell (co-founder of Valve Corporation, known for the Half-Life series and Steam platform)
These are just a few examples, and there are many other talented game creators who have left their mark on the gaming world.

Scratch that - may actually be Gildor.

Glorfindel DID have a part in a different scene in the movies somewhere though. A different actor.

It's funny because this cuts two ways:

1) You could say that the atheists aren't selfless or brave enough to risk their lives in war.

2) You could also say that atheists aren't stupid enough to risk their lives in pointless wars.

So - it depends on how you perceive war I guess.

Title: Coca-Cola vs Pepsi
Genre: Horror

Synopsis:
In a small town nestled between the mountains, the rivalry between two soda companies, Coca-Cola and Pepsi, has reached legendary proportions. The townsfolk have long been divided into two camps, each fiercely loyal to their preferred soda brand. But when strange occurrences start plaguing the town, the rivalry takes a sinister turn.

It begins innocently enough with minor pranks and vandalism targeting the opposing soda company's properties. However, as tensions escalate, the once friendly rivalry transforms into a nightmare. People start disappearing without a trace, their only connection being their allegiance to either Coca-Cola or Pepsi.

As fear grips the town, a group of unlikely allies emerges: a skeptical journalist, a retired detective, and a young scientist who suspects there's something more than mere coincidence behind the disappearances. Together, they delve into the town's dark history and unearth a chilling secret.

It turns out that decades ago, a botched experiment conducted by a disgruntled scientist at the local Coca-Cola factory contaminated the town's water source. The chemical compound mixed with the groundwater and had a peculiar effect: it heightened the rivalry between Coca-Cola and Pepsi supporters, turning it into a dangerous obsession.

Now, with the toxin reaching its peak potency, it's no longer just a battle of taste preferencesit's a battle for survival. The two soda giants must put aside their differences and work together to undo the damage caused by their rivalry before it's too late.

But as they race against time, they soon realize that the true horror lies not in the rivalry itself, but in the darkness that resides within the town's collective psyche, fueled by corporate greed and blind loyalty. And unless they confront the demons of their past, the townand everyone in itwill be consumed by the toxic legacy of Coca-Cola versus Pepsi.

Is that actually supposed to be Glorfindel? I never caught that if so.

Yeah - in the books he was the one that horsed Frodo across the river into Rivendell and protected him from the ringwraiths. They gave that role to Arwen in the movies, to reduce the number of characters the audience would have to juggle, and made Glorfindel just a background character.

You mean my boy Glorfindel?

  • He is one of the few Elves to have dwelt in Valinor and seen the light of the two trees before their destruction.
  • He is many thousands of years old, a veteran of many battles throughout the First Age of Middle Earth and the fall of Gondolin.
  • He is one of the only non-Maiar to have killed a Balrog in combat, ultimately sacrificing himself to do so.
  • As reward for his heroic sacrifice, he was granted even greater power by Manwe (apparently almost to the same level as a Maiar) and sent back to Middle Earth.

Like, have ya ever stopped to think about what's really goin' on down there? It's like a big ol' puzzle, but instead of puzzle pieces, it's got sharks and squids and all sorts of weird stuff. And let me tell ya, it's not just the stuff you can see that'll blow your mind.

Nah, it's what's hidden beneath the waves that'll really make you scratch your noggin. Take the Mariana Trench, for example. It's deeper than the Grand Canyon, and who knows what kinda secrets it's keepin'? Maybe there's a whole civilization down there, throwin' underwater parties and whatnot. And what about the Bermuda Triangle?

One minute you're sailin' smooth, next thing you know, poof! Vanished into thin air, like a magician's trick gone wrong. It's enough to make ya wonder if there's some kinda ocean magic at play. So next time you're chillin' at the beach, just remember, there's a whole world of mystery lurkin' beneath the surface.

Really??????

a 50 hour game into an 80 hour game into a ??? (probably another 80 hour game)

I feel like those "waiting until its a complete package" or "waiting until its finished before I start" don't fully understand what you're getting into.

These games ARE BIG my guy. Individually they take as long as the entire OG - each.

TopicHow do you feel about the U.S.'s 28% tariffs on Electric vehicles from China?

It's for 3 reasons:

1) Security - worry about us being spied on by smart cars
2) Economics - it helps protect EV manufacturers in America, and those jobs etc.
3) Popularity - the tariffs which came in during the Trump presidency have bi-partisan support in Congress

Still, one could argue they artificially keep the price of EVs in the US higher than they could be.

What do you think?

That's literally it lol

We need a State of Play or Nintendo Direct or SOMETHING - pretty badly.

Like.....what even other games come out after now for the rest of this year?

There's the Paper Mario: TTYD remake, and a Metroidvania Indie game I know of called Gestalt.

But like after that.......are there ANY more big games for the next 7 months? I can't think of any notably important ones.
