That actually raises a good point, which is that the end consequence of no gender norms is basically men almost never doing things women actually like, like chivalry, providing, protecting, approaching, etc. because it's simply all been phased out of culture. Women used to REPORT that they were happier. The ones that were asked as part of whatever study. That does not mean they were happier or that all women were happier. It means some of them said they were. There are numerous reasons why that might be the case.

Self-assessments of 'happiness' are not an objective measurement of how 'good' things are for women. They are shaped by cultural expectations and norms.

You're totally misunderstanding what he said. He didn't say women don't want sex, only that they also want security. They're trading one for the other in his thesis (well, gambling one for the other to be more precise).
