Sounds simple yet effective lol. I finally made a Zorah Gunlance build to just shell monsters to death. 100+ damage to any part of the body as long as your sharpness is green. I made it just because of Lavasioth's annoying ass but I've been using it on a few others with good results.

I don't have a single Glimstone either. I also don't have any worthwhile Gunlance drops from her either (not that I had high hopes for one dropping to begin with). I'm pretty sure I exhausted all of my luck just by getting two Red Rubies in one run.

Getting Dante's sword made me wanna try it out. What should I be doing with this weapon (charge blades)? There's a lot of moves, combos, and gauges to digest.

I do the same thing TC. I tend to avoid religious debates so I just say what they wanna hear so I can go about my day. By 'they', I don't mean all religious people, just the aggressive ones that try to convert you no matter how busy you may appear.

I just got the plat for KH2 in the PS4 collection not too long ago. I've always appreciated the game but this playthrough in particular really boosted it to one of my all time favorites. Everything is so fluid and well designed and the bosses are top-notch. I enjoyed BBS and DDD but like you said, there's a lot in those games that drag the experience down. I'm sure I'll enjoy 3 as well, but I really want it to truly deliver and be an improvement over 2.

As for my roommate, that was in college and we shared a room, so that was bound to happen sooner or later.

Whoever's responsible for those Mini/Max crowns trophies needs to be thrown in prison.

I finally finished hunting for crowns in those multi-monster events. It took 62 Diablos kills to get both of its crowns......and those are supposed to be the easy crowns!

tbh, it's a franchise I *wish* I could get into, given that I love the premise. However, I don't like the controls, camera, etc. That and group raiding is often a pain given scheduling and time commitments.

I've only played demos of the past games so I'm definitely not the best judge of changes throughout the series, but the controls and camera feel much improved in Monster Hunter World. And everything in the game can be solo'd, in fact, it's actually easier to play solo. Only arena quests call for multiplayer if you don't wanna be miserable. And the raiding aspect seems to be limited to just this one new monster.

I still play multiple days a week. Trying to finish the last of my crown hunting in those multi-monster events, then start the dreaded elder dragon crown farming next. I'll definitely appreciate more content to break the tedium.

I thought it was hard at first but I learned that the timing is actually extremely lenient. As long as you don't press the directional button and the jump button at the same time, then you should get it.
