"You can't be preoccupied with what other people think. Like Star Wars for instance is my story, just like my house is my house. So if I want to paint my house green, even if everyone else thinks it should be red, guess what: I'm gonna paint it Jar Jar."
New Vegas - A+ Skyrim - A Morrowind - B+ Fallout 3 - B Oblivion - D
that's how i'd grade 'em. i really, really like new vegas.
I liked New Vegas a lot too. which reminds me, I should finish my second playthrough, I was playing a NCR hating total b****. I really want to finish it now that apparently they have a DLC which continues the story.
anyway, here's how I'd score them:
Morrowind - A+ Fallout New Vegas - A- Oblivion with Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul - A- Fallout 3 - B+ vanilla Oblivion - F
I definitely don't think all games need to be like Morrowind, in fact its so archaic that none should. But that game has a level of depth that I have never seen in any other game. The main quest is so f***ing dense, its a shame that pure action is rated so high above story these days.
glad to hear that Skyrim is being received so well though. I just tried to install in on my macbook pro via bootcamp, but alas, no go. it would run, but just felt sluggish even on low settings
Gonna have to play it on the 360

Giggs I just noticed you switched your rym rating descriptors from The Wire references to The Sopranos. My two favorite shows right there. As good as The Wire was though, The Sopranos definitely tops it. I just finished rewatching the entire series. phenomenal show.
gotta say I didn't dislike as many of Tony's crew as you apparently did, but I suppose you gotta downrate somebody. Where would Bobby fall on that list?

so, my friend is making an album, and he wants to have tracks labeled, prelude, interlude, and whatever the appropriate musical term for outro is. any ideas what might be appropriate? We were thinking coda or finale might work.

don't get your hopes up for battles. I won't say don't go see them, but just be warned, they may not be as awesome live as their albums may make them seem
