I first heard about it when they had a food poisoning outbreak in the early 90's. It's not a priority for me to try it.

It is, and for me not residing in the US gives me little incentive to pay the $6.50/week asking price.

Is the crossword-only option not available outside the US? That said, my subscription is a general NYT subscription that was on some sort of deal that made it the same price as a games subscription.

What were you working before? I'm a couple of months into day shift after 20 years on graveyard.

Relatively new to the NYT games but Spelling Bee and the regular crossword are my jam. Mini is great too but feels like more of a time challenge than a puzzle. I do wordle as well each day but it's way too easy and kind of boring.

I wish more people would give the regular crossword a shot but I believe it's paywalled.

Because it's a subdivision of a larger act and so gets classified with a Roman numeral.

I'm more interested in seeing Moonrunners myself.

Then no federal money for their schools? That's how it's supposed to work.

I broke my right arm at a point early enough that I don't remember anything about it but late enough that I started writing left handed permanently but do a bunch of other things right handed and/or ambidextrously.

My art teacher died of brain cancer about 10 years after I graduated. He was as old as I am now.

Also my middle school principal died when I was in 7th grade. I don't remember details other than he'd been sick and I think the school was keeping details quiet but everybody knew anyway so it was hard keeping track who was actually supposed to know what. I'm older than he was when he died.

There was allegedly the ghost of a janitor in our high school auditorium.

1:03 for Saturday. Had to go around the grid a couple of times.
